The one outrage I have is the fact that the government has not spoken to Middle Easterners here in the US on student or work visas. These people are NOT citizens and are not entitled to our civil rights laws. Therefore, I'm calling on the Justice Department and the INS to revoke and expel all Arab foreign nationals holding student, work or travel visas. Ship them back and rid this country of the potential for most attacks from these assholes.
Oh, we couldn't let that happen. They might call us bad names or something.
I really think you're hot over this tradegy, and not thinking with your head. Please.
Might I inquire as to why the "WE" is totally capitalized? WE should be unwilling to allow THE ENEMY to win. When WE start to DEPORT people because of their beliefs, WE ALLOW THE ENEMY TO WIN.
Let us win. We need to protect and maintain our way of life. I'll be damned if I want to see any changes to my way of life because of all this.
Indeed, I am hot, though I'm still trying to be rational. Perhaps you could explain what rights would be violated if we were to cancel the visas of the people in this country who come from countries that we may be conducting military operations against? So far, all I've seen in rebuttal is a concern for personal finances. Frankly, if we suffer additional terrorist attacks from within, perpetrated by foreign nationals, our financial condition will be far more precarious. Nevertheless, as a stong advocate for the upholding of individual rights, I would be compelled to change my position if you can make a rights based case for not deporting at risk guests.
Your way of life has already been changed. It was changed the moment foreign nationals residing in this country hijacked four of our airliners and converted them to guided missiles. Your way of life will be changed even more if we sit idly by and it continues to happen.
Well, since it's been shown via research that the Japanese didn't have an extensive intelligence apparatus on the west coast, probably one or two, or none.
How many were saved from very angry americans; for their own good?
It's beyond me why you want to deport people, in order to protect them from us. What does that say about us?
Everyone is really hot these days, and understandably so. Please, let's not overreact.
And of course, that is more important than the potential Mass Murder of 6000 more Americans.
Pulling the VISAS is the most non-invasive action we can take - it can get so much worse.
I agree with you 100%. With 6000 dead and 10,000 homeless in NY, hundreds of thousands grieving over lost loved ones, and hundreds of thousands now being laid off because of economic disruptions, I'm in no mood to worry about the feelings of non-citizen Muslim Arabs. They can reapply after we get this all sorted out.
You can say:
"I am clueless and being PC is more important to me than my fellow citizen's lives".
Or "the economic risk is not worth catching the few remaining Mass Murderers who still walk among us".
Or some other inane statement; I'm sure you can think of many more.
I get sick of them coming over and getting good educations from universities that our TAXPAYERS built. They wouldn't have any technology if it wasn't for them getting educated in the USA. The only thing they could do to us without their educations would be throw rocks at us.
We don't need their a$$e$ in our country. All we do is teach them how to harm us.
It says that we are, mosr of us, justifiably pissed off!
Except for the arrogant who believe that they are the center of the universe, and that their economic and investment life is worth more than real fellow citizen's lives.
The only thing you haven't verbalized is "a few lives are worth maintaining my pathetic little lifestyle."
What we believe and do as a culture demostrably has no effect whatsoever on certain other countries.
And is not likely to until a certain cartoon religion is wiped from the face of the earth.
