This is quite sad. These children do not realize that adults will soon die to protect the freedom and liberty which they are so flippantly willing to barter away in the name of tolerance and social justice.

How different did those of long ago respond.....

The Spires of Oxford

I saw the spires of Oxford As I was passing by, The gray spires of Oxford Against a pearl-gray sky, My heart was with the Oxford men Who went abroad to die.

The years go fast in Oxford The golden years and gay, The hoary Colleges look down On careless boys at play. But when the bugles sounded war They put their games away.

They left the peaceful river, The cricket field, the quad, The shaven lawns of Oxford To seek a bloody sod -- They gave their merry youth away For country and for God.

God rest you, happy gentlemen, Who laid your good lives down, Who took the khaki and the gun Instead of cap and gown. God bring you to a fairer place Than even Oxford town.

Winifred M. Letts

It didn't happen in Oakland, it could have but it didn't, so I don't feel scared or nothing," said Hieu Le, 15, a student at Castlemont High School. "Why should I go fight in a war and die for nothing

Wasn't RED China promising to target LA and other California cities with ICBMs?

Some one should tell the little @$$ (of course he's probably one of them anyway).

I live in Napa, about 40 miles north of these commie, affirmative action and ebonic schooled left wing extremists!

What you are seeing here is the result of parents who did brain damage to themselves with their love of drugs, teachers who spell KAT instead of cat, and the west coast center of hate America and all the good that it stands for!

Marin county is crawling with adults who think like these little watermelons. We lived there in the early 70's and the hate America mantras used by these dumbed downed ebonicers were standard in Marin county even 30 years ago.

At least 40% of Napa's dumbed down and drugged out, semi adult population would agree with these wastes of skin and air!

I'm sure that 30 to 40% of the NE, the dumbed down and drugged out left wing extremists would agree with these west coast scumbags if they could get by with it!

We have tell these scumbags the same message as the rest of the world, you are either with us in this war for survival or against us! Political positions like these show that you are no better than the terrorists who flew the planes to kill 5000 Americans!

Here's a contact page for Berkeley (Berzerkly) High School.

Perhaps we should ask these 'educators' why they are training a future generation of counter-cultural, America-hating jackasses.

The parents and teachers of this community must be very proud of the fine example of liberal BS spewing from the mouths of these fine young people. They have been well indoctrinated.

"Their lack of desire to defend freedom comes, they explained, from a lack of confidence in the government to help their own communities. Many blamed the U.S. relationship with the world as reasons for the attacks and said they don't want to help because they have not received help in the past.

"How are you going to defend a nation if that nation can't defend against things like homelessness," asked Jamaal Germaine, 15, a sophomore at McClymonds High School. "I'm not in a rush to help our country because our country is already messed up."

I wonder what they do teach during civics class, or is there any such these days?

I know my teens & their friends were jacked and loved the fact that we have flags flying everywhere! Gas stations, schools, grocery stores!

I've always worried about a whole generation that doesn't understand the freedoms that so many died for! But my daughters and their friends have really responded and heard alot more about all this because of what happened this past week. And I would hope that many would be informed enough to counter any Blame America BS that is thrown at them, as my daughters are.

Maybe he'd feel worse if it was Disneyland?

I can only blame the kids to a certain degree; they've been indocrinated with anti-Americanism by their NEA-dues-paying teachers for most of their young lives.

The question is: will they ever grow out of it?

Maybe we should just give California to Mexico right now. Didn't Oakland recently pass a law saying anyone the city hired would have to be bilingual in either Spanish or Chinese? They can openly discriminate against English speakers, but these high schoolers think the rest of the country is the problem. Unbelievable.

A country that has homelessness doesn't have a right to defend itself? These children are the product of the liberal California school system. We shouldn't at all be surprised.

Maybe he should go to Lynchburg and start a congregation.

I must be doing something right. My seven, soon to be eight year old daughter took me on a quest this Saturday to find a flag to put on the house, and after we got that done, we had to reload some .308. What a kid! :)

These morons remind me of my history "teacher". Of course she didn't give the class time to voice our opinions after she told us how awful our country is. In journalism I also had a substitute like this. It was nice today when my regular teacher was back to hear members of the class demand that we never have that person for a sub again.

I wonder if these ingrateful punks will change their tune when they see their friends getting burned alive, jumping out of buildings, being blown into pieces...Maybe they will change their tune when something important to them is affected by these terrorists. I saw this tragedy happen from my office and let me say, I want every person in every host/terrorist state brutally killed.

"I'm not risking my life for that, I love myself too much," said Amir Kellogg, 17, as he sat with friends during lunch. "If they came after me I would have to run." ....That's a very telling statement. But,alas,I wouldn't expect anything different from the People's Republic Of CA.(Spare the rod & spoil the country!)

Children of the Blue Zone

The children of the blues have been totally indoctrinated by the left. Their time will come and I believe that 8 weeks with a desensitized Drill Instructor will bring most of them around.
