I normally hate these "nothing follows" type posts. But this headline (which will soon link to a story) intrigues me. For I too remember seeing a strange object hurtling towards the ground just after the second plane it. At the time, I didn't think anything of it. I thought it might be a defect in the film or something.

I also heard this - ONCE.

One thing for sure: this is no mystery, a portion of the plane went through the building and arced downward at great speed. It could have easily landed a couple blocks away.

The straight line inked in on the Drudge photo is bogus and misleading.

I just copied the photo and stored as a .bmp, blew it up 400%. I estimate that this object is 50% the width of the WTC, possibly 200 ft long?

It probably is some sort of optical illusion caused by the sunlight and the camera man probably running or maybe it is just a weather balloon (wink)

Okay...so there's a trajectory superimposed on the first tower, when the second tower has clearly just been hit. What's your point, Matt?

BTW, this crappy image isn't from the right tape, but during the second collision you could plainly see a second plane in the background. Not insinuating anything mind you...there's no shortage of air traffic in this area.

Sorry, I'm not a pilot so I don't know the lingo. What I meant to say was that I believe he was probably maximizing the thrust of the engines. This would put a moment on them due to the accelerating turbine rotor so that they would turn out as I thought I saw them do prior to impact. The attitude adjustment with the "stick" may indeed be as you say.

I saw it too...today when I was watching the foxnews replay the second tower hit....

...right after the HIT...the camera picked up, what looked like, another jet flying in the distance...between the two towers.

When I saw the other plane on the TV...I thought maybe it was a fighter jet that just didn't get there in time. Or a passenger jet...

I am sure it was another plane/jet...it was not just something falling to the ground.

whatever it is it cant be from the plane because the red projectile is comming from an angle above the second tower. Perhaps it is some type of missile.
