The United States of America is a Christian nation again.
The Terrorist attacks have renewed America's faith in God. There will be no more ACLU/People for the American Way lawyers screaming about politicians and government officials openly praying anymore.
There will no more lawsuits against city officials and residents who display religious symbols during Christmas. No more outrage against high-school teams praying before games, no more Supreme Court decisions.
The atheists at the ACLU were probably defecating in their pants at the site of Congress and President attending the National Cathedral, and at the site of millions of Americans holding candlelight vigils and prayer groups across the country.
I dare the Left to make "seperation of church and state" an issue now.

I have a single political/law code: No initiation of physical force or fraud. This is what you claim for your moral code, yet you condone slavery. You only engage in self-delusion and are a big phoney. Those verses clearly show that those engaged in slavery are evil.

"Those muslim fanatics over in the middle east aren't my neighbor."
Read Luke 10:25-37.
"I seem to recall' doesn't cut it in either theological debates, or in political discussions.
Later.

This is what you claim for your moral code, yet you condone slavery. I don't condone slavery. I merely said the Bible did not explicitly forbid all forms of slavery.
You only engage in self-delusion and are a big phoney.
Right...
Those verses clearly show that those engaged in slavery are evil.
I already clearly dissected those verses.

I've read the good Samaritan story many times thanks.
Seam to recall? Try reading up on Saul before David with the amalikites (i think--some foreign nation). Joshua in Jericho, I dont remember the exacts verses but I know its in there. There are others as well. I'll try and find the exact verses later.

Don't kid (BS) yourself, they'll be back.

"Those muslim fanatics over in the middle east aren't my neighbor."
Since you flop around in your arguments so slipperily, let me spell it out...
Every God-fearing person in history, whether they owned slaves or not, has known deep down that slavery was a great evil...they knew that if you loved someone the way you love yourself, you wouldn't subject them to servitude.
The Founders of this great Republic were Christians (any other idea is pure hogwash) many of them were slaveholders. But I guarantee you this...nothing tormented their liberty-loving souls more during their lifetimes than that fact.
Think how much blood and treasure and misery could have been saved later on, if they had been able to overcome that sin.
As to your attempt to make the God of the Old Testament out to be unrighteous? Why don't you take that up with Him...

your comments betray your own ignorance. Read the history of The American Revolution and our founding fathers. This country was founded with a belief in a supreme being. The First Amendment is Freedom "of" religion, not freedom "from" religion.

I call you ignorant because you are ignorant to the facts. The Founders believed in a supreme being (yet didn't go to a conventional church.) The Constitution and Bill of Rights say NOTHING about a separation of Church and state. This is soley a liberal invention. It does not exist. Furthermore, The Constitution is not a "living, breathing document." It says what it says, no more or less. Liberal imagination has inflicted moral relativism upon the nation. Now we go back to values my grandfather held to keep the world free from Axis tyranny. Liberals have bent the law to fit their whim and sin. For just as the Koran says nothing about about the glory of suicide bombing, the Constitution and Bill of Rights say nothing about separation of Church and state. They are both products of a twisted mind.

Jesus said 'whoever is not with me is against me.'
does that answer your question?

did you knot see that all the religions were there with the president.....he is the president of all the people .....not just a faction or group.....thats his oath to god and country

tin foil helmet time. I am a Christian Republican, but I don't want a theocracy. I want a return to moral values. If you go to Church, Temple, or Mosque to get it - - - it's up to you. Our country was founded by people who believed in God and they came here to worship God in their own manner. Theocracy isn't even an issue.
