This is not about Muslims. True Muslims do not touch alcohol and one of the pilots was seen getting drunk two nights before and refusing to pay his bill in a Florida bar. He therefore cannot be a Muslim hero regardless what the claims are. This is about chicken sh%t limp D$cked coward wannabe warriors who target innocent and easy civilian targets that are already trapped in buildings. What warrior would prove his worth on easy prey ? Cheyenne indians used to go into battle and prove their bravery and skill by simply riding through their opponent and touching him - 'counting coup'. Send 4 Cheyenne on ponies to handle these wimps ! Or carpet bomb to soften the soil for fairways. If someone reports that we hit innocent civilians I swear I will laugh.

Making inferences about Islam based on the acts of a few Islamic extremists is like making inferences about conservatives in the US based on a few extremists. You really want to go there? We already get enough of that PUKE from the libertarians on this site.

"This is not about Muslims." I never claimed it was.

If the inferenes are not analagous, you're welcome to point out the differences. If you thought the point of the post was to poke conservatives, you misread it.

I think we should send in Jesse, Al, Charlie Rangel, Maxine Waters, both Clintons -- destroy them from within.

Bigotry can sound so patriotic at times. Do you agree with NBC when they inferred we should not wave Old Glory because it makes the Arabs feel bad?

I can't even imagine a context in which NBC would say that. But then again, I don't have a TV.

Please note for clarity that the bleeding boy is bleeding at the hand of his own mom to celebrate the martyrdom of someone or other.

Ha ha ha. Learn about Islam first and then revisit your statement. Your analogy is inept. The acts of the "few Islamic extremists" is more characteristic of Islam's inglorious history than they are of anything else. See Joan Peters's From Time Immemorial for an extremely detailed and meticulously referenced (using Muslim sources) history of Islam in the Middle East.

Maybe you can summarize the key points in 25 - 50 words and if I need more info I can ask questions.

Re your posts, complete with pictures: FYI, MOST Muslims, (who reside in MANY, MANY countries all around the world), do NOT agree with what has transpired here and, in fact, are horrified. My Iranian former neighbor would be just one example. She and her siblings were sent to the U.S. for college just before the Ayatollah took over in Iran. Her parents, though they COULD have fled to the U.S., were elderly and did not really want to emigrate. Here's what happened to the parents after the Ayatollah took over: The "mullahs" basically took everything from Iranians who had any wealth whatsoever, only allowing them to keep one home. Many wealthy Iranians had several homes, as was the case with my neighbor's parents. They were divested of ALL their assets except for the one home. On the rare occasion that my friend still visits her parents in Iran, she must dress in the traditional "chador," wear NO makeup, and make certain to behave in public as the government believes is appropriate. She has actually been arrested several times for daring to wear MASCARA in public on the streets of Tehran. To say that this woman detests the Muslim extremists and all they stand for would be a gross understatement. She hesitantly admitted to me that she IS a Muslim, but that she is afraid and/or embarrassed to admit to this unless she really trusts the person she is talking to. It pains her that some people here may view her as a terrorist sympathizer or supporter, when she is neither. I do believe that since the terrorists ARE extremists, not run-of-the-mill Muslims, it would be a grave error in judgment to try to wipe out all or a large part of the Muslim population of the world, as many have suggested. While we must retaliate for the horrors of Sept. 11, it is important to be judicious about who we strike and where the strikes occur. I have no doubt that President Bush will do what needs to be done and at the appropriate time... (Sorry for the lack of paragraphs, but I do not know how to format.)

Thank you -- see my (very) lengthy post on that subject, below...

As a matter of fact most muslims throughout the world DO agree with what happened here and your friends are the exception
I know and work with many fine citizens and longtime resident aliens of this country who are of Iranian , Pakistani , Bangladeshi, etc. background.
It's recent immigrants that must be viewed with suspicion.
As to muslims residing outside of the country, make no mistake that they are happy as hell about what happened.
