Does anyone know when the airlines were forced to remove the guns from the cockpits? I think it was around 1974, but am just not sure. I'm hearing that these terrorists took over these planes with knives and box cutters.

I heard someone say the clean up crews (who clean the airplanes after flights) could plant weapons on an airplane.I'm not sure how what the procedure is with these kinds of things at airports. Wonder if that could be possible?

I'm sorry for me to maintain my anger I have to think of it as an attack on America. For years I would pray for New York and California to fall off the continent and sink in the Atlantic and Pacific. Any time I traveled through New York I never experienced such rudeness and lack of willingness of the transportation workers to even do their job I left thinking of them as a bunch of lazy nasty liberals. A Terrorist attack on a building in that city doesn't change my opinion of it's residents. I feel for them though as I wouldn't do to a rat what Bin Laden did to them. And they are in my prayers reluctantly.
