I can roughly quote William Cohen from his live interview on CNN within the last 10 minutes: "We are going to have to make some tough decisions in this country. We are going to have to "garbled" when making choices between security and civil liberties."

No, we give up some freedoms for the empty promise of security. If there were true security for what we've given up, that security would have prevented this. Maybe it shouldn't be US citizens giving up some freedoms, but foreign terrorists coming into this country should lose their freedoms. We need to protect our borders much better than we are....but Libertarians believe in open borders and one-world stuff.....can't keep anyone out.

I just heard an artsy-fartsy piece on CNN by a cameraman about the senseless tragedy of it all and "the freedom to do evil."
This is not about the goubmint out to get our guns, this is merely symptomatic of the bleeding leftists who can't stop for one second to appreciate the lives lost, but are merely thinking of the political angle here.

"Did you happen to catch CNNs Judy Woodruff interview Tom Clancy on the evening of 9/11? "
Yes I saw the interview and I loved it. I also heard that Tom Clancy was on a few other stations today - can you confirm this?

"HE makes me feel guilty of my freedom"
Naturally.

"Chief Bernard Parks of the LAPD said the same thing."
Alexander Haig and several of the CNN commentators were saying it as well.

What's creepy is that I heard Frank Keating being interviewed on the radio and he said
essentially the same thing. "We are going to have to give up some of our liberties" bla bla bla.
WTF is going on? Are these guys reading from the same memo?
All I know is, I don't like it.

Alexander Haig said it, the CNN anchors all said many times as well.

someone else posted that in addition to retaliation we should use our military to take over the oil fields of those who support terrorism. sounds like a great idea to me. then let's see which arab states have the money to support these barbaric and cowardly acts.
To: Dr. Frank
What's more, is that it makes no sense.
I saw on Fox News that there may have been involvement by airport employees.
Who's gonna guard the guards?
To: Dr. Frank
Identify the perps, locate their families, terminate all of their life functions==== No more terrorist acts against our country.

Read the first sentence of my original post. Then read it again.
Then think carefully about my whole post in context.

I'm surprised ol' "Glass Jaw" Cohen came out from underneath his desk long enough to make a statement!

Islam has condemned this act. You, by the way, are indeed a bigot. Blaming all of the Muslims in the world -- especially American Muslims -- is like the idiots who blame law-abiding, legal gun owners for crimes clear across the country. Blame the criminals, no one else.

Oh, mercy! I know that it was supposed to be inspirational, or something, but I couldn't help but think of the Whos in Whoville (including Cindy Lou Who, of course) who all sang in a circle when the Grinch brought back Christmas.

Pete, you need to hire yourself out as a Sky Marshal.

My Constitutional Right to be Armed is a fact.
The Muslim Religion having a bloodlust is a fact!
look at post # 211 by Yehuda
Islam has condemned this act.
You need to wake up!
We've seen the images of people, children and adults,
cheering our dead on the streets in the PA.
A headline from a few years ago:
Hizbollah promises Israel a blood-filled new year,
Iran calls for Israels end - December 31, 1999
We've all seen images of the faithful at Ramadan
dripping with blood from cuts in their scalps holding
bloody rags above their heads!
The Muslim Religion having a bloodlust is a fact!
We've seen insane people in the name of their Allah
murder tens of thousands.
Bigotry implies an unreasoned attitude. I've watched
this and thought about it a lot. The fact is that 99% of
all followers of Islam, in spite of what they will tell
you to your face, will ultimately support these terrorists
because their religion tells them they must.
