Hey Baldwin-Maybe you can wait for the bodies of our fellow Americans to cool before you get up on your soapbox. There will be plenty of time for you to blame GW in the future. It is time to pray for the dead not make political points! You are about as morbid a worm as there is. Get Lost!
Pray for GW and the families!

I've seen your posts scattered about.......what's your deal anyway? This isn't the time to attack the President. Just be glad it's President Bush in charge, and not the last scumbag.

This is a total failure of US intelligence. This is what happens when you have no borders. No, this is what happens when you get involved in a blood feud in the middle east.
Nope. This is what happens when a country allows terrorists to exist.
But the interrupt-cable has been pulled I hope.

Had you paid attention, you would know that he did make a statement from Sarasota this morning. He's going to make another one shortly. Playing political blamegames is silly- fixing things is the way to deal with a situation. And the utter stupidity of ignoring a decade of deterioration so you can point the fingers at the new 'captain' is the same sort of stupidity that results in such deterioration- we call it passing the buck. I know of a ship's captain who passed the buck onto a new captain when his crew had warned him of failure. The new captain got the responsibility, but the old caption got to continue unscathed and guess what? The same problems continued, and even worsened over the past years, because the guys best suited to fix the problems always get the blame, get their records soiled, while the pampered academy grads skim to their next promotion without people knowing their errors.
I believe in a meritocracy, not mudslinging. The root cause of failures are where we need to look, but you won't like what they reveal. But I will tell you that as a free society, not all failures can be corrected without sacrificing too much freedom for the illusion of security.

It was Clinton who did nothing after bin Laden attacked U.S. embassies and it was Clinton who decimated our military, too concerned with getting oral sex from Monica than with the security of this nation. We were sitting ducks, thanks to him. It's Clinton who tossed a big fat pitch right over the plate, and Osama and his cronies have smashed it out of the park.
Bush could not possibly have turned things around fast enough, especially with the obstructionism of the Democrats in Congress. Bin Laden knew that, and acted accordingly.

Thank God my husband left Ranger Regiment when he did...he's recruiting now. He's the kind of guy that always wanted to go to combat and serve his country even if it meant his life, but I'm glad he's out of there. When he was in Regiment, I always knew in the back of my mind that he could go to combat, but I never liked to think about it. I would be devestated if anything ever happened to him. I have been praying like mad for all our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines.
Talked to him and he said his CO ordered all the recruiters to change into civilian clothes. They also closed the MEPS station...the in processing station.
Rita Cosby said a little bit ago that there were 2 international flights headed to the US that were not responding to the FAA. Anyone else hear that?

Some of your remarks are quite foolish.

Oh my gosh Baldwin, you are a total fool! Who do you think has been in office for 8 years getting fat off the land and McDonalds and sitting by letting these idiots go about with there anti-American hatred acts! Get a clue and a life! BTW...are you related to that other Baldwin liberal...you can both leave as far as I'm concerned.

You know, I half expected to see the Democrats out there trying to score political points off this tragedy. Be patient. It will begin as a blanket US intelligence failure rant and then devolve into specifically blaming W. In a day or three, the "It Wouldn't Have Happened if Bill Were Still There" chorus will chime in and before long it will be a full-blown W is at fault.

The sophistication needed to fly the planes used to cause these horrific catastrophies leads one to naturally conclude nations somewhere are involved. The pilots of the aircraft would not have flown the planes into the buildings, so some terrorist fool had to be at the controls. Libya, Iraq, and the Taliban stooge, Bin Laden's money arm immediately come to mind as sources for the pilots involved.

#23 - the colors of some people come through in these kinds of situations. The pantywaists will all come out to bash the president, congress, etc. Thankfully, most people realize this is the time to come together against the REAL enemy.

That's idiocy. Blame those who did it, the terrorists. As far as no borders, how do you explain the OKC massacre? The biggest thing we have to fear is ourselves and our tendency to trade freedom for security, as you seem all to willing to do.
Take the fight to the enemy not the president, you sound like the Democrats.
