Washington -- The fate of drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge rests with the U.S. Senate, but the debate these days is on the airwaves, not in hearing rooms.
The Teamsters union, emerging as the most prominent pro-drilling group, is about to launch its own ads to counter a recent anti-drilling advertising campaign, said Alaska Teamster leader Jerry Hood.

The more that the Democrats fight ANWR development and push enviro-lunacy treaties such as Kyoto, the faster that unions will rush to embrace us in the Republican Party.
At the very least, this means that union brass will have fewer funds to donate to Democratic candidates in the short term...

And a lot praying on the part of the pro-drilling side won't hurt! Sure hope the Teamsters,along with GWB and Cheney will twist some arms on this, BIG TIME!
