More than 350 people arrived in the UK by making the perilous English Channel crossing in small boats on Saturday, the latest migration figures show.
Some 363 migrants crossed in five boats, according to figures published overnight by the Home Office.
This followed 161 people making the journey in three boats on Friday, breaking a four-day period of no crossings.
A total of 23,129 people have now crossed the English Channel since the start of 2026.
That remains far below last year’s total of more than 41,000 people, and is the lowest number for the year to date since 2022, when 39,939 people made the journey by November 7.

Doesn't Britain have a coast guard, navy, militia, who can put a stop to this?
History books need to be updated. Right now, they all read that Operation Sea Lion was cancelled. It was merely pushed back 85 years.
Problem solved - for the price of a rail ticket.
Great Britain’s Royal Navy is in a pathetic state. There are not enough sailors to man every ship. And the ships that do sail sometimes break down.
But…the RN has 8 modern River-class coastal patrol ships. Any one of them could put a swift end to this cross-Channel invasion.
That would of course take a bit of resolve. That resolve is entirely absent in the UK. And in most of the West, as well.
How many were turned back?
None?
Sorry, no sympathy.
Would they like marmalade with their tea and toast?
Migrants? Any common denominator among these Migrants?
