This reeks of sheer panic.
Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed talked to Bret Baier and Fox News recently, because he's obviously desperate and terrified of losing, and Bret wanted to finally get a direct answer about a letter signed by El-Sayed in 2012 in support of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Shockingly, Abdulrahman was not willing to give such an answer.

I had a friend in junior high and high school in Michigan whose father deliberately wrote in a name in elections, often his own, to prove the vote count listed at the clerk’s office and the local Macomb Daily vote page was accurate. Except for one time it was. Those were the olden times. He sacrificed his vote to do it.
