The crazed killer in a mass murder-suicide in Pennsylvania was a grandfather who slaughtered nine of his own loved ones, including his young grandchildren and a daughter days away from giving birth again, according to horrified relatives.
The 45-year-old suspect, who has yet to be fully identified, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot in the family home in Erie late Friday, with the murder weapon beside him, officials told Erie News Now.

My Grandmother was 44 when she first became a Grandmother, and gave birth to her first child 4 days after her 20th birthday. Of course, this was before “The Pill.”
Old age must have drove him crazy, Rheumatism will do that.
Maybe the father of all his grandchildren…similar thing happened in Arkansas by a man who had been run out of NH and NM and ended up in the Ozarks. Decided one Christmas to off all of them (16 ppl). I think his name was Ronald Gene Simmons. If I remember correctly, the ACLU fought his execution, even though he pled guilty.
Actually, one of the grandchildren was 5, so he was a 40 year-old grandfather. I know people like that, but it just caught my attention.
“yet to be fully identified” is an odd way of saying things. Is he identified or not?

My Grandfather had just gotten home from WWII. He married my Grandmother in June 1946, and she had her first baby(My Uncle) in December of 1946, so if you do the math they “had” to get married.
