Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, who is already facing criticism over past Reddit posts, made graphic sexual comments on his now-deleted account about masturbating in portable toilets and explicit graffiti found in military restrooms.

In one March 2017 post on Reddit’s r/Military forum, Platner responded to a discussion about nostalgic military smells by writing: "I still have to jerk off every time I sit in a portas----er… that blue water smell conditioned me."

The archived posts were made under "P-Hustle," a now-deleted Reddit account that Platner previously acknowledged was his.

In another post from March 2021 on Reddit’s r/USMC forum, Platner described a crude penis drawing inside a portable toilet while deployed overseas.

I feel bad for Conservative Mainers. I was up in Damariscotta last week, and I needed something to drink so I went into a little store called "Fernald's Country Store" on the left after you cross the bridge going into town.

I grabbed the door handle and began to swing it open, only to see a large sign front and center saying "NO ICE ALLOWED".

I immediately shut the door and walked away. I won't be giving any money to people like that.

I can make my choices as a consumer. I don't force them on anyone else.

My wife and I were in a store today, and they had Ben & Jerry's ice cream on sale. It is my wife's choice to buy it and eat it, which she does. These had Jimmy Kimmel's and Steve Colbert's faces on them. Now, I won't touch those products anyway, but to see their faces...it's a hard "No".

TO paraphrase another Leftist, Samuel L. Jackson:

"Their ice cream may taste like punkin-pie, but I ain't gonna eat the filthy MotherF****** stuff."

Southern Maine seems lost to me, from the New Hampshire border up to and including Belfast, but above that the people appear to be far more grounded.

You are right about southern Maine. North of Belfast the people are more grounded. However, there are pockets of left wing wackos: Blue Hill, Bar Harbor, Castine, enclaves for the left wing trust funders and “artists.”

Oh yeah. My wife and I went to Northern Maine in the middle of all the masking and stuff. We were in Belfast, my wife went shopping, and since I was unwilling to wear a mask, I took my folding chair and set it up about 10 feet in the grass from a walking trail that went right by the waterfront, and began to read a book.

Two Karens started haranguing me for not wearing a mask, from ten feet away, outdoors.

When we went further up the coast towards Jonesboro, there were lots of Trump flags, and nobody cared at all if you went into a store without a mask.
