Oh baloney.... If that’s true, then why is Trump so thrilled to let in a half a million of them into our research universities?
They must just really like us.
That’s why we need to sell them US land and import 600,000 “students”

I can’t tell who is or isn’t a spy, but I do know that getting into China’s universities is a touch nut to crack. The Chinese “Gao Kao” system is designed to eliminate all but the best ( or the luckiest ).
The other alternative is for those unfortunate enough not to have gotten through the tough entrance exam filter is to study abroad. In here there are advantages — good universities ( especially STEMs ) and chance to master the English language <— a DEFINITE advantge in China.
Seems like the writers forgot to mention that Trump didn’t allow any of the “gifts” the Chinese doled out to be brought back....
Not to mention the delegates on that recent trip disposed of any potential espionage devices.
