EXCLUSIVE: Vice President JD Vance's anti-fraud task force has withheld $1.4 billion in federal funding from home health and hospice providers nationwide, following a wave of suspensions enacted by an anti-fraud task force targeting operations in California, Minnesota and several other states.
Approximately 90% of the suspended providers have not reached out to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the agency tasked with combating fraud, waste and abuse, since payments have been suspended.
Trump administration officials told Fox News Digital that they believe a lack of communication between alleged fraudulent providers and CMS indicates that the providers were not legitimate enterprises.
The suspended group includes long-term providers who have been pocketing federal funds for years while failing to communicate with CMS, a senior Trump administration source told Fox News Digital.
"The vice president’s task force continues to stop the flow of taxpayer funds before they fall into the hands of fraudsters and deliver savings to the American people," a spokesperson for Vice President JD Vance told Fox News Digital. "This is great momentum in the fight for the President’s War on Fraud."

There’s always that 90%.
I like both Vance and Rubio.
If Vance wants to be President (I think he does) then he will genuinely fight hard to tackle the fraud problem. I think his whole political future pivots on that one topic. People care about fraud. That’s the hill he has to die on, or else Rubio will walk into the White House (which wouldn’t be a bad thing, but I want Democrat fraud attacked).
Arrests? Trials? Convictions? Prison?
We need an army of investigators to go after them. I’m just happy that they’re stopping some of this nonsense.
Waste-Fraud-Abuse-RICO
A curious thing just happened to me that might reflect a general tightening. I just received a brand new Medicare card with a different number that will need to be presented to all of my medical providers. I wonder if that could be part of this general tightening. If so, it’s a good thing.
Vance and Rubio, along with Hegseth and DeSantis, are all good candidates and I presently refuse to choose any one of them. I want whoever wins the nomination to have won through hard fought primaries, just the way Trump won it. That process eliminates the weaker candidates and leaves us with the strongest. OTOH the DemonRats seem addicted to a Soviet method of choosing their candidates, most recently used in choosing Biden and Harris, a process with disastrous results for them.
So, when are the perp walks?
