There was some action on Thursday as the U.S. hit some locations around the Strait of Hormuz, according to Fox.
A U.S. strike on Iran’s Qeshm Port in the Strait of Hormuz and Bandar Abbas was reported Thursday, with U.S. officials telling Fox News National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin that this was neither a restart of the war nor an end to the ceasefire.
The U.S. military also struck Iran's Bandar Kargan naval checkpoint in Minab, officials confirmed. [....]
Iran’s state-run Mehr News Agency also reported attacks and exchanges of fire across Iran’s southern Hormozgan province near Bandar Abbas, Bandar Khamir, Sirik and Qeshm Island, according to reports.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) posted that they had assets transiting the Strait which had been attacked, but not hit. So they responded.
U.S. forces intercepted unprovoked Iranian attacks and responded with self-defense strikes as U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz to the Gulf of Oman, May 7.
Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No U.S. assets were struck.U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) eliminated inbound threats and targeted Iranian military facilities responsible for attacking U.S. forces including missile and drone launch sites; command and control locations; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance nodes.CENTCOM does not seek escalation but remains positioned and ready to protect American forces.
Sounds like a very clear message: you hit us, we are going to take out your facilities, and you're going to find out that wasn't a good idea. So that sounds like the places hit that Fox was reporting.
There was also further news on the Project Freedom front. Apparently, part of the reason the U.S. may have stopped the operation for free shipping was that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait restricted the use of bases. Reports suggest they wanted more protection after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was attacked after the operation started. What happens is we do stuff, and then Iran attacks the Gulf States. So it sounds like whatever that issue has been resolved, and Project Freedom may be back in play soon, maybe also depending on whether there's a deal.
There has to be a response when Iran does something like fire on us, so they learn. So that was an important message to send.

Three World Class American Destroyers just transited, very successfully, out of the Strait of Hormuz, under fire. There was no damage done to the three Destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers. They were completely destroyed along with numerous small boats, which are being used to take the place of their fully decapitated Navy. These boats went to the bottom of the Sea, quickly and efficiently. Missiles were shot at our Destroyers, and were easily knocked down. Likewise, drones came, and were incinerated while in the air. They dropped ever so beautifully down to the Ocean, very much like a butterfly dropping to its grave! A normal Country would have allowed these Destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal Country. They are led by LUNATICS, and if they had the chance to use a Nuclear Weapon, they would do it, without question — But they’ll never have that opportunity and, just like we knocked them out again today, we’ll knock them out a lot harder, and a lot more violently, in the future, if they don’t get their Deal signed, FAST! Our three Destroyers, with their wonderful Crews, will now rejoin our Naval Blockade, which is truly a “Wall of Steel.”
We'll have to see what, if anything, emerges further on the question of the peace deal. It's important to remember there are all kinds of takes on the deal out there, and nothing is final or real until it is final and real, if it happens. And stories from "sources," which is what a lot of the media are running with, don't necessarily mean much.
Meanwhile, if the U.S. can continue to hold the blockade, free up shipping to help supply return to normal, drop oil prices, and the military can respond as they need to, that's a winning combination.

Sounds like our guys are completing the Trump agenda in this regard.

The firepower disparity between now and Reagan’s Earnest Will/Praying Mantis is huge. Then, Iran had the latest US gear. Today, it’s prostrate, with the smoking remains of Russian and Chinese junk its last barrier to overthrow by its own people, rather than any real threat to even its Arab neighbors.
The Iranian people are petrified of a deal that would allow the mullah's and IRGC remaining in power.
Well the Navy said they have never seen the likes of this attack! So maybe Trump hasn’t got the word yet?
I wonder how much stuff is coming into or leaving Iran by rail? Have we cut off the railroads in the country?
