Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada's ties to the U.S. have become 'weaknesses' that must be corrected, in a video posted to YouTube on Sunday morning. Carney said regular updates on Canada's diversification efforts would follow.

From what I have seen and read that new reality does not include you Carney or your neo-communist government in that “correction.”
In fact Canadians can correct the “weakness” of the US... by seceding and joining the US.
Perhaps that is what Carney wants, to rule over the ashes of a formally Free Ottawa, which is about the only place that might not join the US given the opportunity.
Or maybe even they will say Au revoir à jamais!

Their immigration and asylum policies the last several years are a danger to us as well as them.
Maybe start by being a country that a) recognizes the need for a good relationship with the US again, and b) isn’t run by a dumbshit.
Canada exists as just a cross-shipper for China.

My buddy and I were just talking tonight about this. We’re about 70, and both of us can remember just going into Canada with a driver’s license and using Canadian cash in the US and even having a great time with the Quebecers.
I know things are different now, but maybe that’s something to aim for.

There is no substitute for 75% of all your exports. The US consumer market is 30% of the entire world’s consumer market. There is a reason why Carney has the vast majority of his own money invested in the US.
Canuck Boomers are his entire political base. Younger Canadians either voted against the Communists or they’ve already left. If you’ve already got your house and your pension, Canada’s not so bad even now. If you don’t have a house and you’re in the job market in Canada, I’ve got some bad news for you.
