The Secret Service agent who was in charge of developing and executing the failed security plan for the 2024 rally where President Trump was nearly killed has been suspended and is under internal agency investigation for allegedly improperly reporting her relationship with and eventual marriage to a foreign national, several sources told RealClearPolitics.
This suspension is the third one in a year and a half for the agent, Myosoty “Miyo” Perez, who served as the “site agent” for the Butler campaign rally where a would-be assassin shot Trump’s ear, killed retired firefighter Corey Comperatore, and seriously injured two others in the crowd.
A site agent is in charge of planning and executing the security plan for rallies and other events that presidential and vice-presidential candidates, as well as presidents and vice presidents along with Cabinet officials, attend. Others, such as the lead agent and counterparts from local field offices, as well as supervisors, also usually contribute.
Congressional investigations that examined the Butler failures faulted Perez for not placing any Secret Service or local police asset on top of the American Glass Building where would-be assassin Thomas Crooks fired off his shots, among other security problems at Butler. Yet the probes also questioned why the Secret Service allowed an inexperienced agent to be placed in such a crucial role at an outdoor rally with thousands of people in attendance. The decision to have Perez in a leading security role for the Butler rally is even more concerning considering that top-level Secret Service officials, including current Secret Service Director Sean Curran, who was serving as the Trump campaign detail leader at the time, had been briefed on an Iranian threat to Trump’s life.

Until Trump arrived on the scene, Washington DC with the assistance of Fake News Media was very good at hiding the incompetence, dishonesty, waste, fraud, and abuse from the public.

Secret Service Barbie was clearly incompetent, a textbook DEI hire. No way should she be in the Secret Service.
It was a setup - the normal SS team was pulled to cover someone else (either Kamela or Jill, can’t remember) at another event and they got the “B” team, with specific instructions to NOT cover certain places. Nobody in the water tower. No drones. Nobody on the roof that the would-be assassin used as a perch. If not for the local authorities, that idiot would still be up there shooting.
The shooter was a deep state asset. It was an attempted hit by the “intelligence” community/Biden/Obama. And they failed.
Regarding the Florida golf course event, a private citizen also aided in spotting the perp and following while on the phone with the Florida Highway Patrol. The perp was probably supposed to get away but that pesky citizen got the real police involved.

Sure is. I'm white, an old lady now. In 1984, I was working as a C.O. in NY State's prison system. I took the promotional Sergeant's exam and got a 92 on the test. But because of Affirmative Action, the State gave minorities extra points on that exam, so those who got a lower score than me, were promoted ahead of me. As far as I know, that was the first and only time the State gave extra points to minorities on any promotional exam.
Despite the fact that there were fewer white female supervisors in the department at the time, blacks and hispanics were promoted over us. I waited 5 years to be promoted to Sergeant. It was just prior to that civil service list expiring.
Minorities who had lower scores than me, and were promoted ahead of me, then became eligible for the Lieutenant's test, while I was still waiting to be promoted to Sergeant. I'm in my 23rd year of retirement, and I've never forgiven the State for that. When you retire, the State bases your monthly pension amount on the theory that you'll die within 15 years, and won't use up all the money in your pension fund. Since I've been retired more than 15 years, and have used up all the money in my pension fund, I'd like to think that the good Lord, in his own way, has seen fit to give me back the money I would have made if I'd been allowed to be promoted when I was supposed to be.

I honestly think I could have developed a better security plan and I've never worked security in my entire life.
