Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan have agreed to join appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and said that they would take steps to stabilise energy markets. In a joint statement issued by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office, leaders of these countries also condemned the attacks by Iran and urged it to halt its actions immediately. They called on Iran to cease its threats immediately, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the Strait to commercial shipping. Leaders of these 6 countries said such interference with international shipping and the disruption of global energy supply chains constitute a threat to international peace and security.

Maybe Trump told them he had a deal they could not refuse.
As soon as they lose someone, PDJT will get condemned for forcing them into it.
They thought they could ride this out without making and commitments until they woke up this morning and saw that LNG prices had increased by 30%.
Trump made it clear that if they wouldn’t step up and help open the Strait of Hormuz they could pay through the nose for it. We got all we need! :D
We knew France was going to help and now the rest have changed their minds.
Notice Denmark is missing……are they protecting Greenland instead?
LOL! Denmark is a joke.
Good that they’ve SAID they’ll help. Now when, and what are they going to do?
Good question.
The G7 countries need to move quickly, because Iran has already established a maritime corridor for ships from India, Pakisan, Iraq, Malaysia, and China. The G7 is way behind.
The situation in the Strait has cut off 25% of global trade, with about 3,200 vessels and 20,000 crew members stranded and running out of food and water.
Better late than never. These countries see the writing on the wall. They can be part of the solution or part of the problem. They chose the former.
What do they consider “appropriate measures”? Fussing at Iran (mere words). When it comes to actions, same as they said a few days ago. They’ll consider sending ships after hostilities have ceased.
As for now, Why would they be so foolish as to send their ships where the mighty US Navy wisely fears to tread?
Just as long as they keep the muzzies warm......
Snort. I’ll believe it when they actually do something. “Not our war” eh? Of that bunch only Japan isn’t a worthless crapweasl.
If they don’t, they will find they pay 100% of NATO. USA zero.
Who knows, a couple of motorized row boats maybe? 🤪
Depends on what they actually do to help.
Well that'll do it. They even used the word "immediately" in their strongly worded statement. /s
They plan to pool their resources to send Greta’s flotilla.
They won’t do a damn thing.
2 days ago these traitors said nope to our request.
Can’t be trusted to assist.
Let them be nothing but a coffee run.
Lol!
With Sir Kier and Kaja Kallas standing in the bow like that scene in Titanic!
