LONDON, February 10. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump despises the EU and is seeking its collapse, French leader Emmanuel Macron said.
In an interview with The Financial Times, he emphasized that the current US administration is "openly anti-European", "shows contempt" for the EU and "wishes its dismemberment."
Macron also acknowledged that the strategy European countries have chosen for dealing with the US has proven ineffective. "When there’s a clear act of aggression, I think what we should do isn’t bow down or try to reach a settlement. I think we’ve tried that strategy for months. It’s not working," he said.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Trump knows that is what is best for Europeans and the world as a whole.

They were bullying the PIGS, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain and making them second class members.
The EU is a another Borg that consumes everything; produces nothing.
Trump is anti-globalist therefore he’s against just about every foreign country and their associations. His political opposition in America are globalists. So nobody should be too surprised, but in reality, an American president has very little power over the sovereignty of 190 other countries (my estimate of the number of U.N. members which are globalist as opposed to maybe 10 who are not), and that power is further diminished by the sheer number of opponents. For military reasons he has to tread lightly (by his standards) against China, a power which is only globalist when it suits them.
About the only countries Trump can count as friends nowadays would be Argentina, Hungary, Slovakia, Israel, Qatar, Dubai and possibly Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela although he hasn’t removed the communist revolutionaries from power yet. That against the world is not going to be sustainable for too long, Russia being a wild card, Trump probably wants to sympathize with Putin’s anti-globalist rhetoric but knows some of it is insincere and that Putin is a whole other brand of evil.
My vision quest had one perhaps not remarkable outcome ... I am by nature not that fond of Donald Trump’s personal style and wish somebody else might be in his place to lead the anti-globalist fight, but I came to the realization that no human being can defeat globalism anyway, not Trump and not some other person in Trump’s place. Trump will need God’s help to defeat globalism. It will take the appearance of Jesus Christ in the world to slay the dragon of globalism. So that will have to happen, otherwise Trump and possibly Vance after him will just be trying to push a monster back up a hill, they have more might than any other human beings, but not enough might to succeed at this. How can an American president convince all of the world that their ideology is wrong? That task is self-defeating in a world already conditioned to be anti-American, in fact one of the key pillars of globalism is that it spreads anti-American sentiments, but not anti-progressive-American, that is held to be “the right way for America to approach the world.”
As has been said by every Democrat with the possible exception of Fetterman.
In any case, for the world to overcome globalism will require the removal of so many powerful people in so many countries that I could only envisage this as a supernatural event. There is no path towards non-Americans somehow spontaneously developing a love for American values. But fundamentally, if the paradigm were changed to Christian values, that has happened before and can happen again. And it’s the only way that globalism will actually be defeated.
This event that I heard about here, in May, for America to renew its covenant with God, could be a part of this type of solution. I assume it is a Christian theme and not whitewashed into a “God of all faiths” sort of event in which case it won’t reach the standard required to renew the covenant with God AND Jesus Christ which the founding fathers implied was their original goal. That will make it inherently controversial but the controversy is the stumbling block for the nations. If it goes that way.
I think Macron is smarter than he looks. 😆
