The Los Angeles Unified School District reported a noticeable drop in student attendance. Why? Families kept children home over fear of immigration enforcement, with Superintendent Alberto Carvalho acknowledging anxiety among parents and students, who have cited concerns about possible enforcement activity in surrounding communities.
The problem with this decision?
There have been zero enforcement actions on school grounds, and no federal agents have entered classrooms.
Still, fear moves faster than facts, and over 133,000 students are missing school because of politics, not reality.

Grownup LA Gringos need to stop believing all the SOB stories from all those bass tards who are illegally north of the border.
If they are illegally here, shouldn’t they be deported?
It costs between $18,000-$23,000 to educate a child in Ca so let’s go with $20k.
$20,000 x 12 yrs = $240,000 per immigrant child to attend 12 yrs of school in Ca not counting fees, free lunches, transportation, healthcare, etc.,.. and multiply that by the 133,000 that are ‘missing’.
We are talking $31,920,000,000 that the US taxpayers are paying to educate illegal crimmigrant invader children.
Mind you, the schools get paid PER STUDENT so they will do anything and everything to get them back in their classrooms so they can get the $$$$.
If the little buttheads keep skipping school, they need to be deported. America already has all of the uneducated morons we nead.
Illegals shouldn’t be using our schools, our welfare, our housing subsidies, etc.
$billions. Easily.
Those would be illegal alien children who should not be here in the first place right?
I am HTB's Complete and Utter Sense of Indifference.
It’s not like they’re learning anything anyway.
L
You forgot to add the savings of firing 5000 teachers.
Well this hurts the Communist Schools in the checkbook, do they not get paid for Average Daily Attendance?
Keep that boycott going
Not sure, I think schools are paid per student, per day. Losing that many really could hurt.
They can just replace the missing Mexicans with some of Minnesota’s invisible Somali children.
