Land of Confusion: The Great Reset in Motion
DiscernReport ^ | 12/23/2025 | Colin Todhunter

The global disruptions we have seen in recent years are frequently presented as a chaotic sequence of events: a ‘pandemic’, inflation, energy shortages and war. Little wonder that most people are confused. However, a structural analysis reveals a more deliberate controlled demolition of the 20th-century social contract.

We are witnessing a transition from a productive capitalist model, which required a healthy mass labour force, to what Yanis Varoufakis calls a techno-feudalist order.

The engine of this transition was a desperate financial stabilisation strategy carried out by means of a public health event. As identified by Professor Fabio Vighi, the global financial system reached a point of terminal instability in late 2019, evidenced by the collapse of the US repo market (where banks lend to each other).

By freezing the real economy through lockdowns, central banks performed massive liquidity injections to save the banking-finance tier. If that money had entered a functioning economy, it would have triggered hyper-inflation. By keeping the population at home, the elite performed a stealth bailout that preserved the dominance of the financial class by sacrificing the productive middle class.

However, a geopolitical reset also had to take place. For decades, Germany’s economy relied on three pillars: cheap Russian gas, high-tech exports to China and a US security umbrella. By late 2025, all three have been fractured. As Prof Michael Hudson notes, the ‘sabotage’ of the Nord Stream pipelines was a structural necessity for the Western financial elite.

If Germany continued to integrate with Russia and China, it would have created a power pole independent of the US dollar. The conflict in Ukraine served a purpose: it resulted in Germany replacing Russian pipeline gas and being forced into a massive build-out of liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure and reliance on LNG from the US. ...

Thank you very much and God bless you.

An interesting, and chilling, analysis. Don't know if I buy off on some parts of it, but the conclusion does seem in keeping with the stated goals of the WEF.

"You'll own nothing and you'll be happy" is a phrase published by the World Economic Forum. The phrase is based on a 2016 essay by Ida Auken of Denmark, published by the WEF, about a future in which a hypothetical person relies on the sharing economy for many of their needs.  It has been used by critics who accuse the WEF of desiring restrictions on ownership of personal property.

The Great Reset Initiative is an economic recovery plan proposed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project was launched in June 2020, accompanied by a video message from the then-Prince of Wales, Charles. Its stated objective is to support recovery from the global pandemic in a manner that emphasizes sustainable development.

there would be a lot of truth to this story were it not for the radical change brought by trump.

but it could still hold true for europe which could drag a lot of countries down.

the chinese can take a lot pain that is coming their way. but they have the means and will to get out of it too if they want. right now the problem is the cpc.

Once Digital ID and CBDC are down to the
Personal Level that they want, no one
will recognize the life they once had

It will be a 24/7/365 COVID-19(84) Lockdown
on Steroids and there will be no escape

People can Mock and Scoff all they want
This IS coming, whether we like it or not
(definitely NOT)

Those who complied with the Forced Jabs
are more likely to submit to everything

The mask 😷 was removable; the jabs are not

I hope you are right, but matters do seem overwhelming, e.g., the opposition from the federal district judiciary and the addition of US$2T in 2025 to the national debt

Too many people getting in each other’s way. Think condominiums. You par for less freedom and less maintenance.

Agree that 2 trillion is a lot but not so much on a percentage basis to 37 trillion or so.

Fourth quarter showed growth of 4.5%.That’s higher than expected. My guess would be that given the lower trade deficit and the higher investment and much higher federal receipts from stock market gains and import duties plus lower federal spending next year... we’ll see the deficit under 1 trillion in 2026 and swing into a surplus in 2027. They’ll then spend years trimming the debt. but they won’t get rid of all of it because those debts represent a needed investment outlet.

Similar results under similar circumstances were had under newt for about 5 years during the .com bubble. Only this is not a bubble—this is a vast technological and scientific and industrial revolution on par with the gilded age of the late 1800’s.

What’s sad is that most of this Earth DOES NOT
UNDERSTAND that particular issue will become
THE overwhelming concern of their lives.

How soon 🔜 the next phase begins?... dunno

But COVID-19(84) was an excellent dry run
