They described the person on the videos and photos released as a 5'8 male with a 'stocky build.'
He is shown in a 19-second clip walking on Waterman Street in Providence at around 4:06pm on Saturday, around the same time the shooting occurred.

The attacker who was shot was shot by a police officer, so evidently at least one took action.
An old Jew attacked a shooter by rushing him and throwing a brick and was shot dead, distracting the shooter so the righteous Muslim who was stalking him for an opportunity did then bum rush him and take his gun.
Only then did cops emerge from their fearful defilades and engage the shooters.
This is the kind of ecumenical coordination of which I heartily approve! Heroes, both!!!

As an aside, a couple of years ago I was on a grand jury. One of the cases was a vehicular homicide case. The state police were able to accurately gauge the speed of the car on this suburban street by the timestamps on ring doorbell cameras. There were no less than five cameras on 1/2 mile of street. Since they were all linked on the same node of fiber, the time stamps were all synched. As a result they could pin point the speed within 1-2 MPH.
I was fascinated by the ability to track the car in this quiet, bedroom community.
Throughout that experience, I was surprised to see how much surveillance was happening in the county. You cannot do ANYTHING without two or three high def cameras catching you.
The lack of decent video from this case is stunning.

Back in 1985 the NY State police had a recruiting booth at SU. I spoke briefly to the cop/recruiter. He told me after a few minutes I would not qualify because I was NOT 6’ tall.
Which was part of the requirement back then.
That was pretty standard for ALL state troopers back then. A guy I knew was a retired MA trooper. He was about 6’ 3”.
They wanted them to be INTIMIDATING.
My lawyer explained to me years ago after getting a speeding ticket why a lot of small town cops have a chip on their shoulder and therefore can be pricks.
He explained that the top of the class at the state police academy ends up as State troopers. They are paid very well and have a great retirement state pension. The next smartest cadets end up getting hired by the larger cities and the county sheriffs.
The next are the medium size cities/big towns.
The ones left end up at the small towns. They are not very smart. They all have been passed over for the better paying cop jobs. So, they have something to prove. These are the men and women cops that love to give you that speeding ticket. This is because they have nothing better to do.
A buddy from church is a former NH state trooper. After spending twenty years as a trooper he worked at the state prisons. Now, he gives driving tests for the NH DMV. He always has great stories of people that show up that have literally never driven a car before. Most can not speak English either. We ask him, “how many times did you have to grab the wheel this week?” It is always at least once.
Everybody behind the microphone in those incoherent press conferences is a clown. They’re disorganized and clueless. But, hey…at least the DEI police chief is keeping the “migrant community” up to speed….

I live on a rural road in southern NH. The next closest house is 500’ away. After that is a 1/4 mile.
My driveway is about 200’ long with a 15-20 degree hill that would not be to code today.
They show this guy walking down the street in a neighborhood with high wrought iron fences around their lots. Which means it is an expensive neighborhood. I guarantee that almost ALL these houses and businesses had security cameras.
You have to protect yourself from LIABILITY. Installing cameras is a now like buying an insurance policy.
This is how they caught the Boston Marathon bombers.

What's the problem? Since the sex of the shooter is unspecified it seems that the chief's use of the word "them" is appropriate...according to what I was taught in Junior High English class.
In the video it appears to me that the perp walks with a rather out turned right foot. It may just be a quirk of a grainy video.
It does look like the gait of an overconfident leftist nerd.

I must have gone past at least a dozen of these guys last night at WalMart. All colors, black, brown, tan, red and white, 5’8”, stocky build. What a masterful way to give a description. Really narrows down the possibilities...

Its pretty obvious that this was a targeted hit.
Usually these psyco’s go out in a blaze of glory and don’t have a successful escape plan.
Also other than the leader of the conservative group, we don’t know anything about the other victims. Usually the media can’t wait to show the faces and stories of all the victims. That would be a tell on who he was targeting and why.
Stunning? With so many cams out and about, suspect might be more appropriate.

actually, I heard that the fellow that attacked the killer wasn’t a Muslim. He was actually a Christian believe it or not.
