Austin McCubbin, a longtime Trump ally who ran Mace’s 2022 House re-election campaign, wrote in a Dec. 1 post on X that he was breaking with the congresswoman “out of loyalty to the President” and encouraged voters to “scratch her name from the list” of GOP contenders.
McCubbin pointed to the recent discovery of an alleged tie between Mace and a PAC affiliated with Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (R)
McCubbin claimed it became clear she “totally embraced” the funds and that she told him she directed a friend to write a seven-figure check to the PAC.
“She distanced herself, and now she’s fully embracing the Rand Paul + Thomas Massie wing for money,” McCubbin wrote. “Nancy Mace is wittingly or unwittingly a proxy for Rand Paul’s 2028 presidential campaign.”

You people need to read the tea leaves. If she’s successful in her run for the governorship she’ll be out of the way just like DeWine in Ohio and the other one in Indiana-Braun I believe.
I was hoping she’d succeed one of the 2 SC senators who think the senate is beneath them as both ran for the WH. She couldn’t be worse than Linda.
So she reads the tea leaves, sees she won’t get the GOV. nomination and runs again to keep her house seat. That sets her up again for a senate seat. Like the 2 sitting senators she wants to be POTUS-a governorship would be good executive experience. Ask Nikki Haley.
What a traitor! She’s hoping for a great job in the Paul’s presidential admin. Wonder if Massie is looking for the Veep position?
It was good to hear Cass Eliot. You don’t hear much ‘Saloon Style Blues’ these days. Adele comes the closest with the power and the bawdiness. Cass would have been excellent for performing musicals on Broadway. That’s where she really belonged, if going by natural style.
