In a huge leap toward the age of personal air travel, #XPeng has opened the world's first flying car factory. CGTN Jen Copestake reports.

There are rumours the next Tesla Roadster may fly too. Roadster unveil may be in April 2026. We'll see.

Any realistic flying car, step one is that it is NOT battery powered.
The weight penalty and lack of energy density for batteries in cars is bad enough.
For aircraft it is a non-starter.

Asian drivers in flying cars.
What could go wrong?
To: PAR35
They are aiming to make only 10,000 units a year at $280,000 each selling price.
They claim they have 600 orders from the Mideast already.

There were a couple of companies working on battery powered commuter planes. Not sure how that is working out for them.

Nope it doesn't. I hate the friggin' thing. That's why I only use it to make calls and text messages. I do nothing else on it.
