The Epstein files were the latest Never Trump plot to take down Trump. It failed.

When Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene apologized to CNN, went on The View, blamed Trump for supposed death threats, was hailed by the Washington Post and welcomed to join the Democrats by Rep. Jamie Raskin, many in MAGA compared her to Rep. Liz Cheney.

The original Never Trump is long since dead, its leading lights indistinguishable from Democrats, hammered home by Bill Kristol’s endorsement of Zohran Mamdani, but a new Never Trump 2.0 has formed, once again made up of Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie who claim that their rejection of President Trump is grounded in their ‘principles’ only to then turn around and ally with Democrats and smear Trump to the media.

Their shameful press conference, complete with leftists brandishing signs smearing President Trump as a sex predator, showed that the Epstein files have become the new Access Hollywood tape, an opportunity for RINOs to justify their break with Trump because of their ‘principles’ only to demonstrate that they have no principles. Never Trump 2.0 had been hoping that the Epstein files would do what the Access Hollywood tape didn’t, instead, like their leftist allies, they were shocked when the files blew up in their faces, exonerated Trump and instead indicted Dems.

Never Trump 2.0 never cared about what was in the Epstein files. Their performative outrage was as fake as the pearl clutching over the Access Hollywood tape. Instead, Greene and Massie joined with Democrats to manufacture a narrative of a fallen Trump after the election losses in Virginia and New Jersey. The Epstein files release rollout was preceded by woke right accounts (some of them in Pakistan) claiming that MAGA was dead and would be replaced by ‘America...’

The Epstein scandal is much ado about nothing as the truth will never come out even though I would love to see some Democrats outed and watch them dangle at the end of a wire. Our Government is so corrupt is it beyond the pale from the top down.

Exactly right. They have no principles. The good news is that most people see through their BS now.

There is only a handful of real firebrands working for us in Congress. Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, Anna Paulina Luna, and Marjorie Taylor Green are four of them. Hit pieces like this article, focusing on MTG when the entire Congress (save one voted) supported releasing the Epstein files, is just a shallow effort to divide and conquer and remove one of the players from the field who won't play ball with RINOs. I'm glad the files are released and I thank the firebrands for forcing the issue. Trump got some bad advice turning on MTG. But he'll turn it around and work with her again, just as he did after stomping on Marco "little hands" Rubio. They are all good people, and they will all work together to do good things, and We the People want *more* firebrands in Congress, not less. I recognize these hit piece articles for what they are, and I expect more and more people will every day as the Epstein data comes out.

Great article that calls out the fake MAGA types. Trump is the most authentic politician we have ever had, while his detractors will soon be forgotten. Others have tried but so far failed to bring him down. This time won’t be any different.

The Israel firsters at Front Page Magazine are just worried that the Epstein files will expose the fact that Israel was involved in Epstein’s blackmail operation. It has nothing to do with “anti Irumpers”.

We the people like me know the difference between real firebrands and attention whores who run to cameras and create in-party fighting to promote themselves. Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert, Anna Paulina Luna usually do not indulge in that behavior-but MTG has joined Jasmine Crockett and AOC in exhibiting a stunning lack of self awareness as well as apparent ignorance of factual information...

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water over one little spat with Trump. MTG is a reliable conservative voter and the main stream media is trying to use Trump as a wedge to remove her. Republicans may fall in line with the main stream media and harm the MAGA movement. Of course they will. Limp-wristed do-nothing republicans have been snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory for decades. But conservatives will think for themselves. We need more like her in Congress, not less. I'll take a 90+% conservative voter in Congress over most of the other Congress critters out there all day long.
