Larry Summers, a former Treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton and the former president of Harvard University, has resigned from the board of the tech company OpenAI, according to statements released Wednesday.
"Larry has decided to resign from the OpenAI Board of Directors, and we respect his decision. We appreciate his many contributions and the perspective he brought to the Board," a statement from the OpenAI Board of Directors reads.
Summers' resignation came just two days after he released a statement saying he was "deeply ashamed" of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Summers' email exchanges with Epstein were released last week by the House Oversight Committee.
No Epstein survivor has alleged wrongdoing by Summers and there is no public record evidence to suggest Summers was involved in any of Epstein’s crimes.

No he's not. He's ashamed that his relationship has been made public. If he was ashamed of the relationship, he would have confessed and repented before the emails were made public. Expect a lot more of this when (make that if) the full files are released.

It wouldn't matter to ABC Snooze if any survivor had alleged wrong doing or if there was a public record suggesting evidence of involvement in Epstein's crimes. ABC Snooze would ignore it or somehow make it about Trump.
Why? He’s going to need the money now more than ever.

Likely he received a call from the CEO informing him the other members of the board have been polled and want him gone. He was given the choice of resigning, or being humiliated by a public board meeting and vote to dismiss him.
Rarely does anyone on a corporate board or executive suite of a corporation resign voluntarily to spend more time with family, to “pursue other career interests” or suddenly retire on a moment’s notice.
Watch for sudden resignations and retirements in the next few weeks in the corporate sector and academia.

Interesting that they say “survivor” and not “victim.” Are they insinuating Summers is connected to victims who did not survive?
It’s not going to be a viral meme until you correct the second sentence to be more understandable. As it is I have read it way too many times trying to figure out exactly what it means.

Epstein was a major Democrat insider and the the Epstein affair is an almost exclusively Democrat operation.

What exactly was he exposed doing?
The wealthy and powerful that are about to get a lot of bad publicity should hire you as their defense attorney.
“You didn’t prove anything. These are libelous allegations. My client is totally innocent.”
Instead many will choose to run and hide.
That is their call.
Hint: They know more about their lives than you do.
Summers can make that exact claim to a Board of Directors or anywhere else where he has responsibility—and see how it goes.
