Record number of Britons are moving abroad under Labour: 257,000 emigrated last year as Starmer exodus grows
The Daily Mail ^ | 18 Nov 2025 | DAVID BARRETT

The number of Britons emigrating has hit a new high, it was revealed on Tuesday - as the exodus under Labour gathers pace.

Last year the number of UK citizens going to live abroad was 257,000 โ€“ far more than the 77,000 previously estimated by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Before Labour came to power, the highest such figure was 283,000 in 2021 โ€“ when international travel reopened following the pandemic.

Net emigration has also peaked since last year's general election.

In the 12 months to September 2024, a net 116,000 Britons left the country. This is far higher than previously thought. By December, the net figure for the previous 12 months was 114,000. Net British emigration was just 81,000 in 2022.

Shadow home secretary Chris Philp said: 'Keir Starmer's punishing tax rises are causing Britons to flee in record numbers.

'The brightest and the best are leaving the UK for places like Dubai and Milan, leaving the rest of us to pay Labour's higher taxes.

'This is evidence that increasing tax too far makes people leave.'

The ONS data also revealed a historic, post-Brexit moment as migration from the EU fell below 100,000 for the first time since 2003.

It showed the full impact that Britain's departure from EU 'free movement' rules has had.

Statisticians cut their estimate of the number of EU migrants who last year came to live in Britain long-term from 122,000 to 82,000.

These trends came to light after the ONS improved its methods to calculate migration flows over a four-year period to December 2024 by using Government data from the tax and benefits systems.

The changes also showed net migration from outside the EU topped one million annually for the first time. In the year to March 2023, a net 1,047,000 non-EU nationals...

One of my newest neighbors just immigrated here. He is renting a house while he gets everything on track with his immigration attorney, who estimates six years on temporary status with work permit greencard, and.......$65,000 in attorneys costs secured as retainer upfront.

He is thrilled.

You are not thinking like a good leftist the labour party is thrilled to death that these people are leaving they ultimately want a poor disaffected population that will keep them in power forever.

The BBC puts a different spin on it, of course:
“UK net migration 20% lower in 2024 than first thought, ONS says”

Somewhat related:

"City College in NYC hosted an interfaith event and it went super great"

Text overlay on a blurred background describing a difficult moment at an interfaith event at City College intended to bring students together but unfolding into unthinkable disruption with inflammatory rhetoric against Zionism leading to students exiting and remaining attendees being stunned.

Heard a few minutes of Glenn Beck today. Going wild over the end of the West due to Islam takeovers in UK and Europe along with Dearborn and New York City here.
His co host must work every day to calm him down.

But he’s right.

Their Deep State doesn’t need these voters.

But it does want their money.

Bet a confiscatory exit tax will be enacted shortly.

Snow White, Superman, and Pinocchio are out for a stroll in town one day.
As they walk, they come across a sign: “Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world.”
“I’m entering,” says Snow White.
After half an hour, she comes out, and they ask her, “Well, how did you do?”
“First Place,” says Snow White.
They continue walking, and they see a sign: “Contest for the strongest man in the world.”
“I’m entering,” says Superman.
After half an hour, he returns, and they ask him, “How did you make out?”
“First Place,” answers Superman. “Did you ever doubt?”
They continue walking when they see a sign: “Contest! Who is the greatest liar in the world?”
Pinocchio says, “This is mine.”
Half an hour later, he returns with tears in his eyes.
“What happened?” they ask.
“Who the hell is kier starmer?” asks Pinocchio.

Tourists should take the time out the interview them to see if they’re well suited to move here. I’m talking skills and an ability to stay away from the law. They’d hit the ground running.

“I want to emphasize clearly: our concern is with one individual’s extremist rhetoric-not with Islam, not with Muslim students, and not with interfaith engagement itself. We remain committed to building bridges across communities and to creating spaces where all students feel respected and safe.”

Yeah... good luck with that. Muslim students and extremists go hand and hand. The point is that Islam is always the problem. If there were any Muslim students who truly believed in dialogue they would have been side by side with the Jews and Christians at the meeting. These interfaith dialogues are just a waste.of time and underscore the futility of it all.

A lot of the people leaving America and Britain, etc., are just immigrants who are finished with their economic goals of getting plugged into the Western pensions, social security, citizenship, and medical systems, and who then move home to live like a king while getting a check and only a plane ride away from top medical treatment if needed.

I've got a TDS sister in law that worked remotely from at home producing diversity children's story books for USAID. She spent a lot of time in Brussels (Eurozone Marxists). She is taking her wimpy pony boy hubby with her to Ireland. She spent years while being an employee of USAID doing all the procedural things to do it. A truly vile pagan.

If she's smiling, run. She's like Nurse Ratchet in Cuckoos Nest.

the biggest problem is simply where can they go?
Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and many of the European countries are going down the path to perdition like UK... as the Islamicist invasion has gotten worse almost everywhere....
