The DQ employees were being paid, but not every week? Oh boo hoo...growing up, I was paid every two weeks. You are supposed to plan what to do with it. Rent/Mortgage, Utilities, Food, savings then spend it on something. One of my cousins (growing up his parents - mom’s aunt - was a Socialist, and he, my cousin, makes Omar look like an America First politician.) loves to spend his pay (weekly mind you) on liquor, smokes, sluts before using the money for his bills. The kicker is that he blames Republicans for not having money!!
“The law is an ass.”- Mr. Bumble, a character in Charles Dickens’ 1838 novel Oliver Twist
I don’t blame the ADA. I blame Bush the elder for signing it. If the cumulative damage done to the United States by that family could be calculated I doubt anyone else would come close.
No its worse than that. Probably the 2 employees who started the lawsuit got $100,000 and the other 198 had to split $50,000.
I have been a part to many of these lawsuits in the past without my knowledge. One day, I get a check for $7.42 as my settlement money on something I had no knowledge of.
The ADA law was one of the worst things inflicted on America. Good intentions will the death of us all.
I am 64 and there are a lot of things I can’t do anymore. I don’t inflict my lack of ability on everyone.
Most like, less than 10 were a true party to the lawsuit and the rest were sweep up in it during discovery. They pulled all the pay records and added them to make it class-action.
I have been getting paid every two weeks now for the past 10 years. Many companies are doing this now.
Agreed, we like to blame democrats, but the EPA (Nixon) and ADA (Bush) are the 2 worst things inflicted on America and both by Republicans.
And then after over 1,000 lawsuits, we found out he was an illegal alien...
