My decades-old dream for a shakeup at the World's Most Pretentious and Least Informative Infotainment Program™ might be about to come true, according to a story in the New York Post on Monday evening.
Hot on the heels of yesterday's news that new CBS News chief Bari Weiss might poach CNN's token conservative (and not in a bad way!), Scott Jennings, comes word that the high-priced talent — propaganda is a talent — at 60 Minutes might want to make sure their LinkedIn profiles are all up-to-date.
Calling Weiss a "41-year-old newshound," the Post's sources claim that "insiders say she believes '60 Minutes' has drifted too far to the left."
And I've been known to sip at the occasional martini.
This is the same "60 Minutes" that had to settle a lawsuit with President Donald Trump earlier this year to the tune of $16 million, after the "news" program edited a campaign interview with Vice President Kamala Harris to make one of her infamous word-salad answers make sense. Edited? Did I write "edited?" "60 Minutes" hacked that answer with an axe like it was a half-naked teen in a slasher movie.

Back in the early days, 60 Minutes was must-watch TV and I would be upset when football preempted it. Talking about Harry Reasoner, Morley Safr, Ed Bradley, and of course Andy Rooney. Mike Wallace and Dan Rather, not so much, but they played it a lot more straight-up back then. But then, the “left” was just left of center back then, not all the way off the damn left end of everything.

That would have been true back in the 60's-70's, but today, but today if they "drift" further to the left, they will cross the international date line into a different time zone.
60 Minutes has been a communist mouth piece since "Walter Mondale" lied about Viet Nam {I hope that rotten bastard is burning in hell}.
If cbs makes a real change, I will start to watch {just to make sure they are for real}.
If she wants to bring credibility back to CBS news and 60 minutes, which is badly needed for them to remain relevant, then firings are indeed necessary. There’s no other way. They can’t just bring out the same lineup and say “we’re going to stop lying to you and start telling the truth now” That won’t work.
I remeber when 60 Minutes did in-depth reports on real intersting news items. Not just political hit pieces.

So, is she acting out the part for real or did she sleep at a holiday in express? Which is doubtful. Pretty sure if the axe does swing, these assclowns will probably be okay..... At least for a couple weeks anyway.

Bawri should bring back the curmugeon Andy Rooney. He complained about everything. When he died I wrote a funny letter to the NY Post that satirized his grumpy commentary and ended with good riddance. Some people didn’t get the joke.

Im grateful that this article does not drag out, as many other articles have, that tired moniker “Tiffany network.” Not only did CBS surrender any claim to being elite decades ago, 90% of the population would have no idea to the reference in that name

“60 Minutes” has been the old-folks home for TV journalists since... forever. I find it hysterical that they have to introduce all their on-air personalities at the top of each show even when only 3 or 4 will appear that week. But hey! It gets then to the first commercial break so that they can sell those pharmaceuticals!
And we have a combined experience of 250 years.
Exposing charlatans that go with the leftist agenda has been a long time coming. Where has this woman been all our lives? God is opening a door to let all points of view by opposing views....not just one. Go Bari!!!
