Cambodia and Thailand on Sunday signed an expansion of a ceasefire that U.S. President Donald Trump helped broker over the summer to end their border conflict.

Trump threatened higher tariffs against both countries to push them into agreeing to end the fighting. Dozens of people were killed and hundreds of thousands were displaced in the conflict.

The president watched as Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul signed the expanded ceasefire at the annual summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

>> 🙏Praying for our President of Peace

I align with you in that prayer.

“Peace Through Strength”. Thank you President Trump! I wonder how many lives have been saved by Donald Trump’s aggressive waging of Peace.

It’s amazing but won’t get media recognition it warrants.

,,, just watched the President's Kuala Lumpur speech - good to hear him saying the border war between Cambodia and Thailand is something the UN should have solved. Nobody ever puts the microscope over the UN and they take billions of bucks a year to "function". They cost of settling this dispute needs to be invoiced to the UN now.

“...is something the UN should have solved. Nobody ever puts the microscope over the UN...”

The United Abominations is far too busy nursing its insatiable hate-boner against Israel, after all. (rolls eyes)

Indeed. What he’s doing on the world stage is under-appreciated but I hope the President feels personally refueled by the visit to Asia even if the press won’t change…nor the Nobel Prize committee. Or the United Nations for that matter.

My only worry though is that due to what happened in Butler PA, the President avoids doing rallies (and rightly so) and he is losing touch domestically. He is too far removed the voices and day to day life concerns of the base in Middle America. And this may be what leads to the political undoing of much of what MAGA has built up…

The impending Zohran Mamdani election will be an inflection point of sorts not just for NYC but everywhere.

Just anecdotally, I’m out in Thailand right now and about 2 weeks ago in Bangkok ran into a English guy that was a trucker in the US but retired to Cambodia. He was there for a medical procedure and said the difference for him is that he couldn’t do a land border crossing but had to fly in.

But but but President Trump is Hitler. CNN, MSDNC, and the rest of the mainstream media plus the NEA told me so. And President Trump hates non-white people. How could this happen? Why would he bother? /need I? To be safe SARC

That’s great!

You know there are big cultural changes afoot when you see football players do the Trump dance on scoring a touchdown, and we have.

Trump deserves something more than the Nobel Peace Prize. A one time thing...not tainted by the likes of others who have received the Nobel Peace Prize.

For example...Obama was in Office for 11 days when he was nominated.

The UN to solve a problem???? As Biden would say, "come on, man!"

The UN is THE problem.
