We first were introduced to Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge, back at the end of July. Jazz Festival weekend was marred by the most horrific videos of black revelers attacking small groups of white festival goers in the city's downtown in the early morning hours and seriously injuring some of them.
Above is only one of the incidents, and it turned out the fellow throwing the punches already had multiple felony charges pending. He shouldn't have been out partying to begin with.
Another victim was a young woman who stepped in to try to break the fight up, only to be punched viciously in the face and drop like a stone. She would spend days in the hospital.
Chief Theetge's reaction?
It wasn't so bad. Besides, the fights were all the fault of social media making it look awful, and bars overserving patrons.
Why can't everybody just calm down?
Chief Teresa Theetge is now on administrative leave. City manager Sheryl Long is the one making the change.
Police Chief Teresa Theetge was being sued by four high-ranking officers claiming she discriminated against white lieutenants while doling out promotions and assignments using a “race-based quota system.”

America is suffering under a scourge of female police chiefs, about half of which are grandmas. That has turned police ineffective.

No. The Hamilton County Republican Party is non-existent. It used to rule, but their voters moved to surrounding counties and NKY. She’s being savaged by her own. The Mayor, Aftab Pureval, is using her for shade. I kind of feel sorry for her. I think the Democrat Judges outlawed locks on the cells. Even the Chief has complained about the turnaround.
After the Bengals-Steelers game the other night, some guy pumped 20 plus shots into a driver of a car downtown. He had been let out on gun charges, Still had his ankle bracelet on when he shot the guy. That’s how they caught him.
