Trump: ‘No choice but to go in and kill’ Hamas if Gaza bloodshed doesn’t stop
The Hill ^ | 10/16/25 | by Ashleigh Fields -

Posted on 10/17/2025 10:49:27 AM PDT by Kazan

President Trump said Thursday that if Hamas does not heed repeated warnings to stop bloodshed in Gaza, the U.S. will have “no choice” but to use lethal force.

“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” the president posted on Truth Social.

Asked later in the Oval Office by The Hill whether that meant U.S. forces would take out Hamas, Trump said, “It’s not going to be us.”

“Somebody will go in. It’s not going to be us. We won’t have to,” he said. “There are people very close, very nearby that will go in. They’ll do the trick very easily. But under our auspices.”

Trump’s comments come as Hamas has reasserted its power in Gaza in recent days with a retribution campaign following the exit of Israeli forces under a ceasefire deal brokered in part by the U.S.

Hamas has killed at least 33 people since the ceasefire went into effect last week, according to reporting from Reuters. In one video, more than half a dozen men were dragged into a Gaza City square and executed.

The U.S. military on Wednesday warned Hamas to “immediately suspend violence and shooting at innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”

Earlier in the week, Trump downplayed reports of violence following the ceasefire and hostage release deal between Hamas and Israel, saying the Palestinian militant group had taken out “a couple of gangs that were very bad” and had killed gang members.

“That didn’t bother me much, to be honest with you,” he told reporters, according to The Associated Press.

The deaths follow Hamas’s agreement to adhere to the first phase of Trump’s 20-point peace plan, which outlined the exchange of Palestinian prisoners for the release of all hostages once held captive by Hamas.

Keeping us out of unnecessary foreign wars is what the President campaigned on.

It would be absolutely unacceptable to lose a single American life going into Gaza.

The only way Hamas is going to disarm will be from their “cold dead fingers”. Especially since they have so many mortal enemies in Gaza.

...Trump Gaza plan on verge of collapse, warns Saudi Arabia and UAE

Arab and American sources have confirmed that the Sunni axis, which also includes Bahrain, has warned the White House that the Trump Gaza plan is in danger of falling apart.

“As long as Hamas retains its weapons, we will not continue with the process,” the message states. Communications sent to Washington argue that the leniency shown by mediators has allowed the terrorist organization to evade its obligations...

Much like Iran in the 1970’s, a hands off approach to Islamic terrorists, may not be in the US interest or save lives. Sometimes you have to make a point. I am against foreign wars unless necessary. In this instance, if they refuse to follow the agreement and kill people in the streets, we should consider unleashing the Department of War as it will probably save American lives in the long term. Palestinian Refugees should be relocated to Iran, who is responsible for this, IMHO and GAZA bulldozed and turned into a international park. If the people of Gaza, who cheered Hamas, don’t want this outcome they should take matters into their own hands.

We give Israel plenty of aid and military equipment in order to protect themselves from those in Gaza and other military threats. So, it is Israel's responsibility to take any necessary military action there.

And, us going in an killing civilians there would likely result in an surge of Islamic terrorism against this country and our interests abroad.

We're not going back to the policies of George W. Bush.

It's probably Qatar. I've heard they secretly run everything.

10’s of thousands of dead Gaza civilians BEFORE the ceasefire are celebrated here on FR but 33 dead Gaza civilians AFTER the ceasefire will require us to go to war to intercede?

Make it make sense.

It won’t be troops... It will be drones... Every released Pali-squatting prisoner was likely embedded with chips that will guide drones towards their locations... Kaboom! End of Hamas.

We already got that, and we didn’t really do anything. They bombed the ‘peacekeepers’ in Lebanon. The murder countless Americans, bombed ships, transported heroin and probably fentanyl, 911, ect. ect. ect.. You believe that ‘Islam’ would ‘protect’ the Palestinians....and I believe most of them just want the problem they created to disappear. Likely the Arab nations would be happy the refugees were placed in Iran, since they have attempted to destroy every nation that they have ‘immigrated’ to thus far, and they hate Iran. I do not support GWB policies, I don’t believe in limited war, or Americanization. We make it safe, the Arab nations take responsibility for what’s left.

This is a job for the Arab countries. Tell Egypt it’s time to earn their foreign aid.

They’ve already murdered a couple of Americans, Skippy.

Maybe you missed that part.

When we want the Kremlin’s opinion on something we will ask them.

So until that day just pipe down.

With the hostages released, the IDF can just flood all of they Hamas underground tunnels with sea water.   "From the sea to the river" to turn a phrase.   Easy-peasy!

I totally agree. We are not the world’s nanny. Let alone its police or military. Trump needs to keep his gaze inward.
