Los Angeles County CEO Fesia Davenport was quietly paid $2 million in a mysterious settlement two months ago, LAist reports.
The “confidential” deal was approved in July to “compensate her for damages she claimed — including alleged harm to ‘reputation, embarrassment and emotional distress,’ according to records LAist obtained from the county,” the outlet reports.
Many details remain undisclosed about Davenport’s specific allegations and the reasoning behind keeping the settlement confidential, but the timing has raised eyebrows.
Earlier this month, Davenport announced she is taking a leave of several months from her position, with plans to return early next year. Staff was given short notice, LAist reports.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was protection money from her raising a “big black woman” stink about something and someone who disrespected her. Ben Crump, or some other lawyer, rolled in to town and the county just decided, “let’s just shut her up and pay her off.”

It’s not blackmail or bribery, it’s part of the plan to get filthy rich at the expense of the people. They are all on board. They are thieves.
