They own huge amounts of property worldwide and membership is falling everywhere except in South America.
Go to Portugal someday and see the unbelievable extravagance they put in their cathedrals.
At one time Portugal ran 1/2 the world based on the riches they got from China, Japan and the Americas.
The costs to maintain ONE cathedral is probably 200k/month and more likely 2x that figure.
The only way for them to survive is to increase membership or sell properties.
