Captain tells troops to defy orders, ends his career (not yet)

A National Guard Captain told troops to “Defy Orders” — reckless advice that could destroy a career and even land soldiers in jail. Pete Hegseth fires back, warning that this kind of guidance ignores the Insurrection Act and the harsh reality of the UCMJ.

In this video, we break down why following this advice could end careers, strip away GI Bill and VA benefits, or worse. Bad advice doesn’t just spark controversy — it sets up young service members for disaster.

As I did and every other officer did, to become a commissioned officer, we swear "to obey the orders of the President of the United States and the officers appointed over me." Breaking your oath is a very serious offense and this guy even seems to do in uniform or part of a uniform. Recall the Marxist lieutenant who graduated from West Point and went on to Ft Drum before even the Biden folks had enough of him. How long do you think Trump's folks will put up with this? Not for long. (No young enlisted solder in his right mind would follow this advice anyway) Signed: Retired Field Grade Army Officer

Wow is this guy nuts? This guy is exactly the reason Hegseth is cleaning out the military.

“Grow a spine and stand up for your fellow Americans”

That’s exactly what Trump is doing numb nuts.

A National Guard captain says this, I can assure you that his troops already have a pool setup and bets taken as to his upcoming and well-earned ‘transition’ to other life options.

I doubt this guy ever led troops in combat like the Secretary of War. He was a staff creature for sure.

Come in Captain.

No, stay at attention

Have you considered what you plan to do in your next career once released from Ft Leavenworth? If not, I suggest you consider enrolling in a mail order janitorial service program.

Dismissed.

He’s running for congress in Illinois.
I hope his recorded remarks are not overlooked.
Hegseth is extremely busy right now.
This Captain looks nearly hypnotized, as he reads his script.

This "captain" in certifiable. He admits he is not a lawyer, yet is giving legal advice.

Any one that follows this idiot, will be in serious legal jeopardy.

How long before The SEC WAR scoops him up?

Sounds more like inciting mutiny.

Firing squat worthy, if true?

Good point.

If he violates his oath of office as an officer, the House or Senate would be within their rights to refuse to seat him if elected.

He would obviously be untrustworthy, having previously and demonstrably violated his sacred oath to the military and the Constitution.

However, democrats always assume there are no consequences for their actions, no matter how treasonous, so maybe a political future is the plan.

Enlisted oath, not an officer's.

He looks like that all the time. Friends, a fun challenge for you: think of one or two of the most extremist left wing positions. Then go to his campaign Instagram page. You’ll be hard pressed to think of a moonbat issue he doesn’t address, from his pronouns in the header, to commie symbolism in his campaign materials, to the tshirts he wears, to being a fanboy of Greta Thunberg, that you won’t see covered by his videos. And now he’s adding fomenting mutiny

This liberal captain says to not follow illegal orders, which in and of itself is good advice. But, he goes on, and though not a lawyer, describes what he, as a Leftist, thinks is an illegal order, which funny enough is anything a Leftist/Democrat would disagree with. This guy needs to be gone with a dishonorable discharge. He is doing this, in my opinion, to gain publicity for his run for congress.
