It shocks me so many Freepers forget the Tucker Carlson in the 2000s. He was universally hated on Free Republic for being a milquetoast self-hating conservative. Back then he was on on a show on CNN called Crossfire and it was his job to make conservatives look stupid.

Then he was on PBS, then he spent four years on MSNBC. People try to pretend he wasn't on MSNBC, but you can't hide it.

I don't know much about Nick Fuentes, but this suggests a level of self awareness that I'm surprised at.

The even more humorous (or scary?) undertone is that he knows that his anti-Jewish beliefs are wrong and/or irrational.

Is it possible he only spouts these views to make money? It wouldn't be the first time.

I remember reading that Ron Paul had a newsletter way back when. The newsletter was somewhat racist, but specifically he wasn't racist, he just did it for the money.

I always find it amusing when people wonder why the US has always supported Israel the way it does:

a) settled by Europeans fleeing religious and ethnic persecution;
b) fought for independence against the British Empire;
c) were surrounded by millions of natives trying to kill them;
d) fulfilled their manifest destiny to expand and secure their country;

So the real question is not why so many Americans support Israel, but why so many do not.

That is magnificent. My wife and I were actually talking about him last night, and I was searching for a way to say that he just very strongly suggests controversial things, but rarely actually pins himself down in a way that he can't at least attempt to weasel out of it.

But Carlson has changed his positions to many times, too widely, for me not to regard him as suspicious.

And it may be financially motivated. I'm not even talking about money from Qatar, or whereever.

Once people leave the big networks they have to make their own money. Maybe he looked at the numbers, and someone told him this niche was most likely to be profitable?
