It’s the new normal, and
Humphrey was on the way out anyways.
Every time there’s a different party in the White House, this is just how things will go.

What the left is trying to say is that the president has no say over the economy... But only because he’s Trump.

“Independence” in this case is just a euphemism for “unaccountable.” “Independence” is rocket fuel for the deep state. The very notion of an “independent” government agency is antithetical to self-government.
It’s absurd on its face. Sure, let’s create a government agency, fill it with unelected staff who are virtually impossible to fire, and then insist that elected officials cannot “interfere” with it because it’s “independent.” What could possibly go wrong?

The WashingtonCompost is worthless if you are wanting accurate information. For one, they don’t allow the President to do anything. Talk about authoritarian that’s the left for you. And they know this yet post that ugly lying headline. People should think for themselves. These rags and medias hate us citizens and country. They refuse to give you the TRUTH in anything they put out on you.

[Kagan:]
“He may now remove ... any member he wishes, for any reason or no reason at all. And he may thereby extinguish the agencies’ bipartisanship and independence.” Well.... that should put a complete and total end to THOSE lower court decisions!

Judges are blocking Trump’s authority, not because they have a legal leg to stand on, but to slow him down, frustrate him and his administration, and hope he makes a mistake they can really punish him with.
