I too worry about a Wellstone type of event. One would assume the organizers of these memorials will have a handle on things. This needs to be a milestone in public discourse in America, not a flashpoint.

Indeed. This isn’t just a normal memorial of someone who died too young. It was a political and spiritual assassination. Those who celebrated his death will hate anyone mourning for him as well. That venomous hate can easily translate to even more murder.
