Chinese government-backed hackers have reportedly stolen information from critical infrastructure and government computer systems as part of a years-long campaign that includes the well-known Salt Typhoon activity. More than 80 countries were targeted and the Chinese hackers are learnt to have "stolen information from nearly every American", officials said, according to The New York Times. ..

During the sweeping yearlong attack, China-backed Salt Typhoon group infiltrated major telecommunications companies and others, and stole data could allow Chinese intelligence services to exploit global communication networks to track targets including politicians, spies and activists, investigators said in a highly unusual joint statement last week.

I read a report about Tik Tok and a newer, worse app called Yik Yak and the Chinese are playing the long game and building profiles on our children because they know they’re our future leaders.

They partnered with the cartels....kill people in Mexico and the United States.

They transport the precurser chemicals to countries to flood the United States with Drugs, the number one cause of death for young people in the US.

They target industries and attack and destroy them in the US.

They steal data and hack people, and assist other nations that use that data to attack Americans.

They send spies here by the Thousands to steal industry secrets and Government secrets.

The facts suggest that China has already declared War on the United States, we just haven’t’ acknowledged it yet.

There is widespread evidence and multiple charges from the U.S. government detailing that Chinese government-linked actors have engaged in widespread cyberattacks and economic espionage to steal intellectual property, sensitive data, and technology from U.S. companies and research institutions for decades.

These efforts are described as a strategic component of China’s technology development and national power goals.

The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted individuals, including People’s Liberation Army officers and members of the Ministry of State Security (MSS), for stealing trade secrets and confidential business information from U.S. companies.

Targeting of High-Tech Sectors: Chinese government-linked hackers have targeted sensitive data from firms in high-tech, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries, including chip designs and proprietary manufacturing data.

The Chinese government has been linked to advanced persistent threat (APT) actors, such as the Winnti group, that infiltrate company networks, remaining undetected for extended periods to steal vast amounts of data.

In 2014, the DOJ indicted five PLA officers for stealing confidential business information and intellectual property from U.S. commercial firms, according to Wikipedia.

In 2020, the DOJ charged two hackers working with the MSS for targeting COVID-19 research and other high-tech sectors.

The FBI estimates the cost of IP theft from China to the U.S. economy to be between $225 billion and $600 billion annually.

China’s technology theft efforts are driven by its aspiration to become a global superpower and achieve technological parity or superiority with the U.S.

The Chinese government utilizes a comprehensive strategy, involving intelligence services, military, and state-linked actors, to acquire technology and maintain a strategic economic edge over other nations.

Scale and Scope

Persistent Threat: The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its intelligence services are described as the broadest, most active, and persistent espionage threat to U.S. technology competitiveness, according to a DNI.gov document.

International Reach: This targeting is not limited to the U.S. but extends to companies and research institutions in Europe and other parts of Asia.

While companies (and government) in the USA chase printed, fiat federal reserve notes, and debt service, the Chinese government makes sure that their companies and people also pursue national and party strategic goals

Remember that difference.

Were these cyber attacks, or did actors inside Fedzilla open the back door to let the Chicoms in? I'm betting on the latter.

And are we surprised? Chicoms are like the Ferengis stealing everything they can pilfer. And our president wants to bring in 600,000 from Chicom? Forget that.
