Even this statistic is bogus because in the USA, a person was counted as a Covid death if they ever tested positive. Hospitals were given more money from the federal government if a person died from Covid then if they died from something else. They could have already been near death from something else when they caught Covid, but still counted as a Covid death. We will never know how many people actually died from Covid and not something else.
