I got a metal roof after Hurricane Milton. I have done massive truss reinforcements in my attic, though I am not done yet. My two story house has solid concrete walls poured on a form, for both floors...all the way to the rafters. I still have two tall trees that could fall and brush the house.

I am getting there for preparation.

to this day, they still blame Bush, even though it was the air head governors fault and the moron mayor too for the bad response. Even still, you gotta be pretty stupid to die in a hurricane. Youve got plenty of advanced warning. Tornadoes, not so much...earthquakes, ZERO warning. But a hurricane?...no excuse.
