Sicko caught on camera duct-taping dog at Queens park arrested — but quickly cut loose after arraignment

The NYPD’s newly revamped Quality of Life team busted a cruel sicko for allegedly duct-taping a dog’s mouth shut and stuffing it in a cage — but the suspect wasn’t off the streets for long as he was cut loose because most animal cruelty crimes aren’t bail-eligible in New York.

Kristopher Fyffe, 38, was arrested Sunday, a day after witnesses watched him wrap a pit bull’s muzzle, legs, and eyes in duct tape outside Queens’ Gwen Ilfill Park in an apparent plan to dump the animal and leave it for dead, a criminal complaint against him shows.

They then confronted Fyffe, who allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened them before taking off with the dog in a grey Honda minivan, documents show.

The Brooklyn man was pulled over by the Quality of Life team the next day, and officers found the poor dog in a kennel in the back — along with four other pit bulls caged in horrific conditions.

Witnesses began filming — with horrifying footage showing a man in a black tank top push the helpless dog onto its side to finish binding its legs — and called 9-11 as they watched in horror.

“There is no case here,” he allegedly said. “They are going to create a case because of a Karen and then they are going to kill my dogs.”

The cops weren’t buying it though. After observing the footage and the condition of the kennels in the van — a van which allegedly had another vehicle’s plates — Fyffe was arrested and charged with torturing and injuring animals, menacing in the second degree and other charges.

But since most animal cruelty crimes are not bail eligible in New York, Fyffe was let go after he was arraigned.

Fyffe faces up to two years in prison if convicted.

As the “journalist” noted, the tank top is black. What the”journalist” was afraid to say is, so is the animal abuser. It would be a real shame if someone gave brave soul taped up Kristopher Fyffe‘s limbs and mouth and dumped him in the Harlem River. A real shame, I tell you

In case there was any doubt, here is Kristopher Fyffe

Animal cruelty is often a precursor to serial killing. The nation is all upset about things like the Minnesota shooting, and then this guy in NY is cruel to a dog and the system shrugs and says “No big deal”.

This is the sort thing that causes the FBI to say “He was on our radar” after a very bad thing happens. Learn to connect the dots, people.

Probably lost a dog fight. At the very least the judge could have done was ban him for life for the mistreatment of an animal.

I know that some people on these forums don’t care for pitbulls, but in this case can we agree that this pos deserves to be duct taped, severely beaten, and stuffed into a small cage?

Anyone who would abuse an animal would do the same to a human, given the chance.

But hey, New York. Release him without bail. That will teach him - teach him that he can do whatever he wants.

I just noticed that the photo caption describes the man as having a “blank” tank top. Yeah. Sure. Describe his clothing. We will all be on the lookout. And describe it wrong too: “blank”. Looking at that picture, I guess they just couldn’t bring themselves to use the word “black” as any part of the description.

It takes a certain individual to be mean and cruel to animals. If they’ll do this to animals, they’ll eventually be cruel and violent towards people if they haven’t already.

They post a pic of the suspect’s back, but no mugshot?

Democrats protecting their violent criminals again?

People wonder why pit bulls are insane.
This is partly why!
I bet this was part of an illegal dog fighting ring!

By the time these dogs are rescued, it’s too late..
because all they have EVER known, are beatings, pain and fear.

I don’t trust pit bulls, but maybe understand why they snap, and attack..
The merciful thing to do, is put it down, maybe..

“Fyffe was arrested outside of Queens Gwen Ifill Park”

!! What did the late Gwen Ifill ever do to merit her own Designated Park Space? She was a barely even American) News Reporter and later a “Friend of Barack” during the run up to the 2012 election, as she hosted a Joi Reid type of propaganda show first on PBS, later on NBC.
Big Mike probably is the one who made the Park happen.

Sadly, there are some psychos on this site who will hail this future serial killer as a “hero”.

I disagree. There is something fundamentally broken about animal abuser that only a death sentence can address.

Yep. A pit bull acts out of instinct, and DNA. It doesn’t choose to go crazy. But go crazy it does, way too often. The breed is simply too dangerous to be allowed in society.

Animals should not be allowed to own dogs. ‘That’ rotten culture seems to have a thing for abusing animals.

That is a shame-I think animals are more trustworthy than most humans because they lack the ability to hide their inclinations/intentions. I’m one of several people who rescue the abandoned and lost pets that appear dumped on the roads or wandering around hungry and confused every year at the end of the tourist/Summer season, and after every holiday in this rural area.

The tourists and weekend people think nothing of leaving an unwanted pet to die when they leave the area. I rescue abandoned cats and find them new, loving owners-my own 5 spoiled cats were rescues. One of my neighbors does the same for dogs in that situation. The dog breed most often dumped are German Shepherds and Malinois-American Bulldogs, American Pitbull Terrier and other bully breeds are a close 2nd, then Jack Russel Terriers and Chihuahuas. All those dogs have one thing in common, regardless of size-they are high energy, protective, sensitive and intelligent-they need to be kept busy, paid attention to and firmly managed at all times-as in leashed when they are outside their owner’s property.

Too many people get one of these dogs then have no idea how to see to it that the dog is a good pet and behaves with humans, unless they are threatening their owner. The Shepherd, Malinois, Pitbull and any other Bulldog breed is a working dog-its job is to protect and guard its humans and place. Anyone who doesn’t know how to manage a dog like that has no business with one just because it is the dog du jour-that is how the poor animals end up dead or abandoned-no fault of their own. I do not have a dog right now-but when I do it is always a dog on the insurance company bad dog list-2 German Shepherds, a Chow, a Siberian Husky-all on the list and not one ever bit me, my hubby my cub or a guest of mine and they lived long, healthy lives-both my Chow and Husky lived to be over 17 years old...

I don’t have any dislike of Pitbulls-my cub has an AKC American Pit that she and her hubby are crazy about-I just have never wanted to have a terrier of any size-they are too jumpy and barky for my taste...

Crazy or mean people of any ethnicity-like that hoodrat in the article-should never, ever be sold or given a guard breed dog of any kind-they are too stupid to have a highly strung pet-or any pet, as far as I’m concerned-even a cat or a chihuahua-those are obviously the kind of people who are prone to animal cruelty-we see it every year at this time out here...

Also, consider what dogs were considered most dangerous because of attacks vs. what the gangster dog of choice was.

It was Dobermans, Rottweilers now pit bulls and soon to be the Cane Corso. However, they get one free bite if they’re referred to as the cain corso….
