They all speak Russian. One woman is smart, Taking English lessons and some kind of steps to become a citizen. She’s the one that stole my hose, but she’s nice enough to water my lawn too.

Actually, Germany most certainly have $$$$ for social spending, as long it is on the privileged Ukie "refugees" :)

Ukrainian refugees in Germany are entitled to various social benefits, including financial assistance to cover basic needs, such as €563 per month, per person.

They also have free access to health insurance, accommodation support, and integration services like language courses and job placement assistance.

Of course they also have Volunteer initiatives, and organizations such as Caritas and Diakonie..... for more freebies.
