The Trump DOJ called Garcia a "clear danger" who must be held accountable.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gangbanger and illegal immigrant facing human smuggling charges, could be deported to Uganda, Garcia’s legal team says.
The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security allegedly told Garcia’s legal team on Friday that their client could be sent to Uganda if he refused to accept a plea deal offer on serious smuggling charges.
If not accepted by Monday, the departments allegedly said that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would start the process of deporting Garcia to Uganda. If, however, the deal was accepted, Garcia could be deported to Costa Rica.
Garcia’s team says this is an act of coercion from the Trump administration. However, a DOJ spokesperson contends they are simply working to keep Garcia, a “clear danger,” away from law abiding Americans and hold him “accountable” for his actions.
“A federal grand jury has charged Abrego Garcia with serious federal crimes … underscoring the clear danger this defendant presents to the community,” the DOJ said. “This defendant can plead guilty and accept responsibility or stand trial before a jury. Either way, we will hold Abrego Garcia accountable and protect the American people.”
The DOJ never confirmed nor denied whether or not Garcia would be deported to Uganda.
Garcia was quickly championed by the Left after the Trump administration mistakenly deported him back to his home country of El Salvador, where Garcia apparently faces threats from gang members. Democrat politicians and legacy media infamously and erroneously dubbed him a “Maryland man,” weaving a story of a sympathetic family man wrongly deported.
However, more details were quickly uncovered, revealing apparent gang ties, alleged sexual misconduct toward young girls, and participation in an illegal alien smuggling ring.
The crux of the DOJ’s case...

Deport KillMore to John Roberts’ house.
No one is saying WHY Uganda was chosen.....WHY? Does anyone know?
They are trying to pressure him to accept a guilty plea and self-deport back to el Salvador where he is originally from.
I still don’t understand how he came back to the US from El Salvadore.
Maybe that court order
Saw a couple of news clips of that creep playing with young kids and tossing a balloon at a birthday party.
Sheesh.
I guess Idi Amin being hungry doesn’t work as a reason anymore ;-)
Mamdani: Smile when you ask that. Uganda is heaven on earth.
Do you know the Maryland Man?
THAT doesn’t answer the question - WHY UGANDA? There are hundreds of countries in the world to choose from..They drew names out of a hat?
I believe it is because Uganda said they would accept him.
My guess is that we picked somewhere outside of North & South America so they don't start driving back right away. That way if the deported people don't take a voluntary trip home but force it through the courts they will have a difficult and expensive time to get back home to their families, much less back to the US border.

Uganda has offered to take in as a third party illegal aliens deported from the USA who are not Ugandan citizens. That’s why.
The US Supreme Court already upheld his do not to El Salvador ruling so the USA cannot send him to his country of citizenship we must find a third party willing to accept him. Uganda has said it will take non criminal aliens but if they said they would take him they are doing it to gather favor with this administration they will want something in return.
Maybe Uganda is smarter than the average bear and plans to ship him straight to El Salvador!
How about Liberia and Charles Taylor?
Take him to Juba, South Sudan and pay an official at the airport $20 to let him through immigration. Drive him 10 miles outside the city and drop him off. No one will ever see him again.
Maybe they want to serve him.
I’ll bet his boyfriend, Chrissy Van Hollen is heartbroken. His honey could easily become part of the Thursday night stew for the jail.
I have an idea. Have him detained on a houseboat.
One DOJ official will say deport him. A little judge will soon say “My order this morning blocks that.” Then a higher judge says go ahead and deport him.
Goes on for weeks and then months as he fishes, suns himself, greets Van Hollen and Al Sharpton who arrive in boats.
The writer Alan Watts lived on a houseboat called the SS Vallejo for several years. Recorded lectures and had groups visit him there.
His last words in 1973 were: “If I could only figure out how to do all this without my body.”
I saw him speak at a university auditorium a few weeks before he died.
