Such health "evaluations" unfortunately put diagnostics and treatment in the very hands of two primary entities that could be causing your mental health problems - your parents and your education indoctrination system.
It is very easy and even gratifying for teachers to label kids. It is often very harmful to a child. Drug use in children for the most part has been a disaster. Children’s personalities, coping skills and emotional framework evolve over a very long time. Pinning a “diagnosis” at any given point on that journey is a bad practice.
36. Denies manmade climate change.
37. Is homophobic about transgender sharing facilities.
38. Believes in parental rights.
etc. Very dangerous IMHO.
The time has come for separation of school and state.
Just sign your name across the boxes on #35. Refuses to share.
And then quit sharing your child with the school.
Good grief!
Those are just what we used to call “Growing Pains”.
How could the youths of the Late 1930s have ever won WW2, after going through the Great Depression?
I believe at this point we can call it a black hole.
I’m 81...Go for annual physical...every few years..Refused to play their mental games. I told my doctor why and he understood. He has a watchful eye...and I really appreciate him talking with me.
Just say NO to government control !!!!
So, #20. If the child gets an annual checkup from a doctor and gets a clean bill of health, that is a sign of mental illness.
The opt-out feature is deliberate, because these Democommies know a lot of children from objecting families will be caught in the net anyway. Interesting that the child himself can’t opt-out. Who thinks that these tests will be announced in advance?
And if a child inadvertently takes the survey and indicates “problem areas,” will the parents be scrutinized if they don’t heed the “treatment” advice?
If it’s a “pop quiz” and the child just wanted some attention that day...an adventure begins!
Teachers are NOT mental health professionals. I was and these questionnaires with children can be skewed easily. Identifying behavioral issues with children should never be a simple questionnaire that may follow them to the grave.
Sealed records at age 18? Maybe, maybe not. This is the big daddy government after all.
Uh, that would be a hard NO! To alter an old saying.... Show me the person and I’ll show you some mental issue.
I used to LOVE the academic assessment tests (we took Iowa Test of Basic Skills) in grade school, because it provided an opportunity to show off in areas that I shined (skience.) :)
But NOTHING like this one was on the horizon. Mental health and nurturing was something done in the home, and teachers stayed in their lane.
True. The sacred bleeders and idiot pop psych general education retards with a four year degree of fluffy schooling is going to judge a child with government weenie over reach?
Just say no.
I have too much to say on this and it’s all bad.
Most of them describe normal kids.
Whoever developed and forces this test on kids should be tested for insanity.
“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”
