Far-left Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu of Boston said yesterday that her city would not cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in deporting illegals, and that the Blue City would remain a sanctuary for illegals.
Wu falsely claimed at a news conference that the Trump administration is “attacking our cities.” In response to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s warning that sanctuary cities must drop their policies or face federal legal action, Wu said the city would do no such thing.
Wu now risks prosecution under several federal statutes, including those dealing with harboring illegals and interfering with the enforcement of federal immigration laws.
Wu’s unhinged news conference and letter to Bondi answered the attorney general’s warning of August 13. Bondi wrote to myriad sanctuary governors, mayors, and other officials.
Congress “has codified the duty of states and local governments to cooperate in immigration enforcement efforts,” Bondi wrote, adding that far-left sanctuary jurisdictions “have undermined” that partnership. As well, she added, they have openly “obstructed federal immigration enforcement, giving aliens cover to perpetrate crimes in our communities and evade the immigration consequences that federal law requires.”
Bondi added a legal threat. “Individuals operating under the color of law, using their official position to obstruct federal immigration enforcement efforts and facilitating or inducing illegal immigration may be subject to criminal charges,” Bondi wrote. She noted these federal statutes:

I would really love to see Wu Manchu frog marched out of City Hall.
Without Dems useful idiots and that is what they consider the illegals, their useful morons, they would cease to exist as a political party
Then arrest and charge her for obstruction of justice.
Bondi to Mayor Wu: We Will Not Give You a Penny of Federal Money To Run Your Woke City.
I think she wants to find out the hard way that being a sanctuary city comes at a cost...likely a cost that Boston voters won't like.
Wouldn’t it be “funny” if it turned out, Mayor Wu was herself an illegal alien.
AIDING-—ABETTING-—HARBORING
SURE IS DRAWING THE SKUNKS OUT OF THE WOODPILE
No one is going to be prosecuted.
Right. It’s way past time that she should be arrested as a rebel. Wu is nullifying and obstructing federal law. If Trump catches wind of her audacity, woe is Wu.
We really don’t need Democrats help. we need them to just stay out of the way and NOT interfere.
You can live in a shithole if you so wish, but you aren’t going to take rest of us down with you.
So sayeth the All Knowing Wizard of Nothing.
I am so proud of this administration. I really didn’t see them going head to head with liberal parts of the country.
Agreed. Nice to see the administration on the offensive against those who seek to destroy our nation from within and without.
Being a sanctuary for illegals probably means more ICE hanging around your Massholeland city, Wu.
Enjoy!
Let’s not forget that Mayor Wu was the racist piece of garbage who held a no-whites-allowed Christmas party back in 2023.

seems to me, all Wu has to do is order her people to do nothing when it comes to illegals and she should be in the clear.
Seems like she might be aiding the foreign criminals. No question in my mind that she is abetting the foreign criminals.
I thinking arresting and charging two or three of these mayors and politicians would cause others to change their attitudes somewhat....
