There’s a reason Pelosi dragged her old butt to Ukraine after the war started. Pelosi was directing Zelenskyy on how to funnel money back to the Dems. And warning Zelenskyy about consequences for not giving the bosses their cut.

I remember the story in the news, but I don’t remember who the source was.
With the lists that are coming out, I think our country is more corrupt than Ukraine. With virtually dozens of corrupt US politicians doing business with one corrupt gas company and a couple of pols in Ukraine, it looks like we are far more corrupt than they are. And we haven’t cleaned up our act, so it’s hard to blame them for not doing so. The average citizen in Ukraine probably knows little to nothing about it, and like the average citizen here, has no way to stop it.. All we have is Trump and his administration, and hope for the best from them.

When I was there, EVERYONE complained about the corruption. It is ingrained in their society.
America is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC to “properly” represent the citizenry.
Anytime you hear a Dem whine about “gerrymandering,” ponder this:

Using RICO to take down the mob DOES NOT make a person the smartest lawyer in the country. RICO is a gift for prosecutors, no doubt about it. Since its inception, RICO has been used for prosecutions everywhere by over zealous prosecutors using RICO as a tool for activity completely outside its original intent.
I have long prayed for its use against government corruption. Finally, the answer could be just around the corner.
THAT IS WHERE THE MEDIA BEARS A LOT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR BEING IN CAHOOTS WITH THE DEMOCRATS. They need to be held accountable as well. This goes far beyond First Amendment rights. This is obstruction of justice on a grand scale.
Corruption appears to be ingrained in ours, too. All the way down to city officials getting kickbacks from contractors. And even if the contractor doesn’t particularly want to go along with it, he knows he won’t get the contract without doing it. And i worked in the oilfields here in Texas all my life...You don’t even want to get started discussing the corruption that goes on there... Even if people in Ukraine are complaining about it, like us, there is little individuals can do...
Years ago someone coined the words - “Ukraine, the corrupt Deep State’s Sand Box.” They take us for fools. Greed is what has always been America’s attraction with Ukraine.

You miss the point of the article.
The convictions will come in the States , where the grand juries will hand down indictments.
DC is being by passed.
Also, DC in the process of being dismantled and will most likely be returned to the states, or have its self governance yanked, potentially being turned into a National Park , or a Historical Site.
DC had been weaponized, and that just might end up with a bunch of it’s dirty politicians and office holders facing rico and criminal charges after DC ceases to be a district with its own weaponized courts and judiciary.

It quite possibly is. That’s quite a statement, but it certainly could be true.
Two things can be true at the same time. Ukraine is corrupt. Putin invaded Ukraine.
