President Trump arrived in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday with a single urgent demand for his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin: a ceasefire in Ukraine, and he wants it immediately. “I’m not going to be happy if it’s not today… I want the killing to stop,” Trump told reporters as he headed to the high-stakes summit, which is taking place at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, a Cold War–era military facility. Trump will greet Putin upon arrival, a symbolic gesture underscoring the significance of the talks.
If the meeting goes well, a follow-up summit that includes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be the next step, one that, according to Hillary Clinton of all people, could even put Trump in line for a Nobel Peace Prize if he manages to broker an end to the bloody, grinding war between Russia and Ukraine. Not only that, but she also says she’d nominate him herself.

Considering that Hussein and Yasir Arafat received this “award” President could mention all of this and turn it down.
On other had, President Trump, in his inimitable style, could Make Nobel Great Again.
And what would it matter anyway, since they gave one to Arafat who immediately called for a new Intifada against Israel because he didn't get 100% of his demands at Camp David? Then they give one to Hussein Obama simply for being in office for some 7 months and had done nothing to secure peace anywhere.
If they want to give their discredited award to someone, it should be President Trump for his Abraham Accords that normalized diplomatic relations between Israel, UAE, Bahrain, and months later Sudan and Morocco. That's 4 of Israels enemies to sign on. Plus Jordan and Egypt already had normalization treaties with Israel.
Now Trump is working with Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords, not to mention his continuing efforts to stop the Russia/Ukraine war. Let's see what develops today.
I wish every government employee would get fully audited. See what their annual salary is and if after taxes how much is in their bank accounts, they have to declare how they got any extra money’s or it gets revoked and placed back into the treasury. If the auditors find ANY fraud or corruption, all their money is revoked and they do a minimum of 3-5 years with no possibility of future work in any government position.
