Bill Clinton was “tough on crime”
Sure. Bring back “Midnight Bass-a-Ball.”
How’s that workin’ out...
Yes..they should have no problem with that!
My son recently did a ride along with a cop buddy. They were throttled in what they could do.
They weren’t allowed to do any pursuits, he had to stay in the car until given the OK, they weren’t primary on any calls, stuff like that.
He still saw enough. Before the ride along he wasn’t thinking of joining the police force, but he is now.
Likely most reporters who downplay crime in DC would not waste their time riding along because they know their editors would round file any such report, unless it proved that crime was down.
Ballast ought to be useful to a vehicle. Leftist media would, at best, lessen the fuel efficiency. I can also see them inserting themselves in situations for the benefit of the criminal.
Have them get out of their bulletproof limos and walk around DC at night w/o bodyguards.
Coast Guard headquarters is in Anacostia and when I used to work with them 20 years ago they were blunt: do not be in the building after it gets dark because leaving at that point is dangerous. They told about bodies being found nearby regularly. Later it got better after they put the DOT and the baseball stadium there, but apparently thanks to Soros DAs and the dem party loving them some violent crime it's all turned to poo again.
Two of our West Wing tours were late at night and you have to park about a block away on the streets. Never been bothered but you have to wait at a guard shack for 15-20 minutes while they check IDs & there’s always people walking up & down the street that are kind of sketchy looking. Keep in mind, we’re dressed up for the tour wearing jackets & ties.
